I have a MF for few month already, and its been a nice addition to my fish
tank. I am looking to add another cichlids (south americans) than can share
the same tank. I was reading about rams, I would appreciate any feed back
about rams, and if it is any of htese rams better than ...

I have a pair of Oscars about 6 inches long (so far!) in a 125g tank that
are for all observations healthy and typical. The other day I came down and
found that one had ripped the pectoral fin of the other clean off - nothing
left. I've kept Oscars for a while so I'm used to damage ...

What's your opinion of keeping 4 silver dollars with 1 or 2 blue-eye
cichlids?
I currently have an empty 40 gallon tank.  I'm looking for suggestions on
what to include with my 4 silver dollars.

My wife came home with 3 Bubblegum Parot fish... I think they are that
crossbreed using red-devils and something else.  Very oddly shaped.
Anyway... I can't seem to really find much information on these fish.
Am I searching on the wrong name?  I searched Google for Parot Fish

A several months ago I put a rather agresive angel into my "hospital" tank
because it kept beating up the other Angels.
Amongst a series of incidents I squashed him with a sharp piece of slate and
took a great chunk out of his side.

Any ideas? The suction cups don't seem to want to hold the heater to the
plastic container.. This is not a hard plastic container..

I have a Red Zebra Malawi Cichlid which has a black string about an inch
long dangling out of one gill.   Both gills appear to be red and swollen.
All the gill worm descriptions I was able to find describe white/green
worms which are barely measured in millimeters... this seems not ...

I have a 45G tank in my living room running for few months now, my concern
is that because it is in the middle of the room span every time someone
walks by there is a slight vibration and I can see the water and the tank

I have always wanted an Oscar or oscars and now I have a 55 gallon

Is it true that a baby Oscar will stunt its own growth so that it won't
outgrow a small tank?

there but during our last winter storm here in the NW, we were out of power
for 4 days and the only fish to make it out of my two ...

I setup a 20L (20gal "long") at work recently, currently cycling. Any
cichlids that would do ok in this smaller tank? What type and how
many? Otherwise, I may just go community. Thanks.
