The water here is off the chart on my test strips for ph and Total alkalinity (kH, I believe). Is there anything I can do to lower the Alkalinity, and then the pH, preferably without changing the hardness? The hardness is just right, it runs right around 120 ppm. I've tried

I will be getting a 30 gal tank soon, and am seriously thinking abou getting a pair or trio of Bue Rams. The only other fish I would have i there are adult male guppies(10-15), and maybe 3-4 corys (still thinkin on corys).
