end of tether23 Jul 2003 05:48 GMT3
A difficult post to write, please bear with me.
Last night I snapped.  Our youngest ferret, Pickles, decided to relieve
herself all over my wife's college coursework.  I'd spent a whole day
cleaning carpets, vacuuming, washing skirting and cleaning kitchen
We have a name!22 Jul 2003 13:32 GMT6
We have been out of town for 5 days and I didn't think I'd ever catch up!
Wow!
Anyway, we have finally decided upon a name for our big, baby boy!  Of
course, everyone loved Molly's B.B. idea (Big Bad Wolfe)  But, it just hit
UK adrenal question21 Jul 2003 23:39 GMT3
Right, Mischief went to the vet the other day with an enlarged vulva,
there's 3 options: infection, crap spay or adrenal.  Dealing with it as
infection at the moment, but if that fails then that leaves the other two
options.
Ferret Eating Question20 Jul 2003 22:55 GMT5
Since I have gotten my new ferret, I have noticed that my older ferret
doesn't seem to like to eat from the same dish as the new one.  He will,
but he is rather reluctant.  IT seems weird to me, becaue he was once the
young ferret, before my oldest passed away about 6 months ago.  ...

Hi old lady , it's time for me to tell you that what you are talking about
is certainly far "off topic"as somebody else already told you .The girl you
are talking about is certainly only in your fantasy , she has NOT sexual
problems (I can vouch for that)and she's so beautiful and ...
Keep those nails clipped!  short story.18 Jul 2003 20:48 GMT7
just wanted to share a short story.  i've had my fert almost 7 years, and have
always been good about keeping his nails clipped, but since the last clipping i
apparently was a bit remiss.
my husband works from home, so the fuzzy is able to run around all day, doing
Ferret teeth18 Jul 2003 03:20 GMT1
I was wondering about teeth....do ferrets lose their teeth, I mean baby
teeth?  I know cats do, I was wondering if ferrets do and how old they would
if so.
Metronidazole Question18 Jul 2003 00:31 GMT1
My ferret was recently prescribed metronidazole from Vet A, but I ran out so I
had to pick up some from Vet B since Vet B is closer. Vet A told me to keep it
refrigerated but B said I don't have to. Does anyone know whos right? Im
keeping it refrigerated just in case but Im curious.
Ferret diet15 Jul 2003 15:55 GMT26
What do ferrets really like to eat? Ok, I know they eat ferret food, but my
ferret hardly eats anything else besides. It likes the Marshall's (Prem.
Ferret) Diet well enough but I wonder if there are other things it might
like to eat? My ferret is extremely finicky. It has rejected ...
Ariel's Heart - Solved!14 Jul 2003 21:57 GMT2
Just wanted to let eveyone know that Ariel had her echocardiogram this
morning at MedVet in Columbus - Dr Lemkuhl is *very* good, *very* thorough,
& *very* nice. Former prof of veterinary cardiology at OSU (got out of it
cos she didn't like the pure lab work).
Ferret Teeth14 Jul 2003 13:27 GMT2
Fellow Ferret Friends,
My ferrets seem to be acquiring "plaque"  (greenish-brown) on their teeth:
the one ferret has plaque on the upper back teeth and one on the front fang.
What can I use to get rid of this problem?  Is a vet able to clean ferret
health question14 Jul 2003 13:17 GMT2
Does diarhea always mean that a ferret is sick?  I added a new ferret last
week and now both seem to have slight diarhea.  Is this cause for concern?
SHould  I take them both to the vet, or is it safe to wait a day or two to
see if it gets gbetter?
Giving ferrets whole bones to chew13 Jul 2003 23:13 GMT2
I am interested in the in-and-outs of giving my ferrets bones to
gnaw on from time to time.  I know that some people give ferrets
bones, but have not been able to determine through searching what
*kind* of bones are usually given and considered safe and which
