skinny weasel...12 Jul 2003 16:45 GMT4
Gadget has lost a lot of weight.  I know that it is normal for them to drop
some during the summer months, but he's actually kinda boney.
He seems perfectly normal otherwise; he's eating well, drinking & playing as
usual.  His poo seems normal.  He's probably fine, but I thought I'd ...
Weight Control12 Jul 2003 03:22 GMT5
One of my boys, Loki, is getting...seriously fat. What's the beast means of
controlling a ferret's weight? I'm trying to get him out on walks more
often, but it only seems to be helping marginally. Controlling how much food
I give isn't an option as I hve two in the same cage.
Distemper and Rabies shots-opinions please11 Jul 2003 03:32 GMT2
This might sound a stupid question to some, but I'm feeling confused and
needed to ask.
My little girl is due for her Distemper/rabies shot.  Is this *really*
necessary for a "in-house" animal?  Is these shots *safe* for ferrets?
ferret's gone banansas11 Jul 2003 02:51 GMT5
My ferret has a habit of taking off with a banana peel after my son eats the
banana, he (ferret not son) jumps from couch to TV tray and grabs the peel
and hauls butt.  I get it away and he just glares at me.  Also has this
thing about potatoes,  grabs one then takes off with it, he ...
Northern VA/Metro DC/Maryland Wood Pellets?11 Jul 2003 02:15 GMT1
This might have been asked before, in which case I apologize for the
redundancy.  I reside in the Northern VA area.  While I had a *huge*
suply of wood pellets I brought with me when I moved, it has dwindled
overtime and I'm down to a couple of bags.  I wonder if ferret lovers
Concerns about Chicago Tribune Article...11 Jul 2003 02:09 GMT1
Not to be an alarmist, but I read an article in the on-line version of the
Chicago Tribune about Wednesday's City Council meeting. The meeting covered
the usual topics: traffic scofflaws, traffic light monitoring, etc. What
concerned me was the second to last paragraph:
Litter11 Jul 2003 01:09 GMT3
I'm getting 2 ferrets soon and I would like to know if feline pine is a good
litter for them or not.  If not what would you recommend.
ferret dying10 Jul 2003 18:35 GMT3
Does anyone else notice their ferrets dying every now and then only to get
better?
Hair loss09 Jul 2003 23:12 GMT3
I know that this is commonly discussed here, so please forgive my
redundancy.  Our little girl, who is a year and half old, has lost just
enough hair at the tip of her tail to be noticable.  I can't get her to the
vet until next Monday, "unless it's an emergency", so I thought I'd ...
insanity?07 Jul 2003 14:09 GMT5
is a normal, healthy, 9-week old male ferret supposed to be COMPLETELY
INSANE?
our new boy, Pippin, is non-stop, high speed activity.  Poor Gadget can't
get any peace!  i have never seen such hyperactivity in an animal in my
