Onyx crossed the Bridge today. I miss him terribly already. I do have a second mink, and unofficially a third mink. My second boy is Donovan, a mahogany, and my rommate's bay, Stitch, a dark almost black looking, mahogany with a white chin. Both boys are 4 mos old,

Onyx the black mink died of unknown causes after suffering a severe seizure. We've elected not to do a necropsy. We have previously lost 5 ferrets, 4 ours and 1 rescue, and the dog. It has not been an easy year.

Penny was once a beautiful solid cream. Last week, almost overnight, she got a mask & turned blotchy. She looks now as if she's been playing in ashes. We've taken to calling her dirty girl. Also Gadget, our original, has turned gray.
