Is Totally Ferret Totally.....01 Oct 2003 00:35 GMT15
I started working a pet store a couple of months back.  Until now, I
had fed my ferrets a mixture of Iams Kitten and various ferret foods
(8-in-1) etc.  Now I figured, hey I get a fat discount, my fuzzies may
as well make the best of it.  So I had my manager order Totally

Postal Lottery: Turn $6 into $60,000 in 90 days, GUARANTEED
I found this in a news group and decided to try it. A little while
back, I was browsing through newsgroups, just like you are now and
came across a message just like this that said you could make
Sick ferrets -- moving to shelter for last days?30 Sep 2003 04:58 GMT32
We have two ferrets with insulinoma, an eight year-old male and a nine
year-old female. The female also possibly has spinal cancer.
The male had surgery early over the summer to remove noduals from his
pancreas. The surgery was a success, but, more have appeared. We were

Ferret Concerns.29 Sep 2003 18:03 GMT26
I just got my first ferret today.  Her name is Una, and she is beautiful and
incredibly sweet.  I love her already and can't wait to spend my time
pampering her extravagantly.
However, I have a couple of concerns.  First, I live in a house with other
pet insurance?29 Sep 2003 07:18 GMT19
I just had one of my ferrets into the vet because she was lethargic, not
eating and dehydrated and I was concerned about a more serious issue.   They
did blookwork, x-rays, fluids and hospitalized her overnight, etc.    $500
later, with antibiotics, vitamin supplements, etc....  ...
Well..........28 Sep 2003 16:09 GMT1
I've been giving this a LOT of thought lately and even tho I swore that
Kylie was going to be an only child, I think we're now going to open
ourselves to the possibility of finding a little brother or sister for her.
It's not something we're going to actively go out and hunt down, ...
book...28 Sep 2003 14:54 GMT3
At the urging of my pestiferous wife & son, I have begun writing a book.  It
will be a children's book about ferrets, with illustrations, of course.
My son, Eric, has done some sketches that may be used eventually, but I'm
open to using other contributions as well.
Found Ferret Berwickshire.27 Sep 2003 16:19 GMT30
S.S.P.C.A. guy Stuart knocked my door luchtime and handed me a beautiful
young male polecat. Not at all nippy, plump, clean and sweet smelling. Found
wandering the streets in Chirnside. Berwickshire. After my last female died
on Friday I really don't want to build my collection up ...
New Toy Ideas26 Sep 2003 22:57 GMT2
Well, the new little boy never seems to run out of juice.  I play with him
around four hours a day running around the house, letting him chase me,
etc.   And the rest of the day, the older ferret plays with him until he
gets tired, then he tries to find place to get away from him ...

I'm glad to introduce to you Harley! :o)
I adopted her sunday at a ferret-party on Alessandria (North-Italy).
She is a cute little Siamese abandoned a month ago in Turin in the shop of a
friend of mine.
Question revised25 Sep 2003 14:32 GMT6
ok, My mistake, I worded my last question wrong.   I am in Jax Fla,  I
already own 2 female ferrets, "stinky and smoky"  I am in the market for
a male (not for breeding) ferret.  I am looking for a specific color
type.  Such as a silver-mitt or a sterling silver.   I have gone to ...
Titusville rescue pictures (links)25 Sep 2003 01:08 GMT12
Titusville Rescue
Saturday we gathered to face the challenge of the day. To rescue an unknown
number of ferrets. Ferrets crammed into a 25 x 25 foot shed. Deprived of
food, water, medical care, human contact. Not knowing what love is. Not
COA/munged address25 Sep 2003 00:30 GMT8
I'm being email bombed like crazy.  I'm not quite ready to give up my real
email address.  So I've changed my name from Kathy Gallagher to Celtic
Ferret.  Munged my email address by adding 'nospam' to it.  I hope this
slows down the adress harvesters.
