We have two ferrets with insulinoma, an eight year-old male and a nine year-old female. The female also possibly has spinal cancer. The male had surgery early over the summer to remove noduals from his pancreas. The surgery was a success, but, more have appeared. We were

I just got my first ferret today. Her name is Una, and she is beautiful and incredibly sweet. I love her already and can't wait to spend my time pampering her extravagantly. However, I have a couple of concerns. First, I live in a house with other

I just had one of my ferrets into the vet because she was lethargic, not eating and dehydrated and I was concerned about a more serious issue. They did blookwork, x-rays, fluids and hospitalized her overnight, etc. $500 later, with antibiotics, vitamin supplements, etc.... ...

| Well.......... | 28 Sep 2003 16:09 GMT | 1 |
I've been giving this a LOT of thought lately and even tho I swore that Kylie was going to be an only child, I think we're now going to open ourselves to the possibility of finding a little brother or sister for her. It's not something we're going to actively go out and hunt down, ...

At the urging of my pestiferous wife & son, I have begun writing a book. It will be a children's book about ferrets, with illustrations, of course. My son, Eric, has done some sketches that may be used eventually, but I'm open to using other contributions as well.

Well, the new little boy never seems to run out of juice. I play with him around four hours a day running around the house, letting him chase me, etc. And the rest of the day, the older ferret plays with him until he gets tired, then he tries to find place to get away from him ...

| COA/munged address | 25 Sep 2003 00:30 GMT | 8 |
I'm being email bombed like crazy. I'm not quite ready to give up my real email address. So I've changed my name from Kathy Gallagher to Celtic Ferret. Munged my email address by adding 'nospam' to it. I hope this slows down the adress harvesters.
