When ferrets must be away at the vet's...09 Oct 2003 00:38 GMT39
I have been thinking lately about ferrets having to spend time at the
vet's (or a shelter), and how it must make them feel. Although we tend
to ascribe more feelings to them than they might actually experience, we
do know that they have some feelings, no matter how small. And, I ...

my attitude07 Oct 2003 17:42 GMT12
I have decided that this newsgroup is sadly no longer for me. I am unable to
set my questions to music and make them sound like a Shakespeare sonnet. I
call a spade a spade. I feel sick to my stomach when someone abuses an

the ferret anyone could ever need and I LOVE being ...

Ione goes to the vet06 Oct 2003 22:52 GMT4
I took Ione to the vet today for what I thought was an absess from another
ferret's bite.  It turned out to be a benign tumor.  She is staying over
night at the vet, getting surgery in the morning.  She will be home tomorrow
afternoon.
Bart and Victoria Really Progressing06 Oct 2003 17:53 GMT3
Bart's and Victoria's personalities are really coming out now. They are
doing things they never did before and relating to *me* like a friend,
instead of just "the big one".
A few days ago, Victoria actually licked my ear and nose. That is so
