I can't find the email (or name!) of the APF member who was looking into adopting two children from abroad, but this news article is about a similar adoption where the kid is now part of a family with ferrets, reptiles, a skunk and pigs!

I recently had to put down my older ferret as she was suffering from insulinoma and lymphoma. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do to an animal. I never want to go through it again. Not to say I couldn't if they were suffering...anyhow...I was talking to my vet and she ...

| Danish Ferrets? | 21 Nov 2003 00:42 GMT | 14 |
What are ferrets called in Denmark? Are they popular over there? I'm asking because I had some houseguests from Denmark last week, and they seemed fascinated by the ferrets, and hadn't seen them before. They weren't sure if they had heard of them in Denmark, so I told them I'd

| Ferret "attacks" | 17 Nov 2003 19:02 GMT | 3 |
This is not a troll; I used to be a ferret owner and have seen this topic addressed elsewhere on the Web but without a satisfactory explanation other than, "no pet should be left unattended with small children..." I was also interviewed a few years ago by the local TV station ...

| whimpering... | 17 Nov 2003 14:51 GMT | 12 |
Is it normal for my fur kids to make little whimpering noises while wrestling? No screams, just little whimpers mixed in with the dooks. The boys get pretty rough with each other when going at it, but so far we've seen no blood or poo.
