Have two ferrets aged 4 and 5. The four year old goes to the vet for an adrenal gland removal and the 5 year stays home alone for one night. The recovering 4 year old stays in a separate cage for another night and is then placed back in the joint cage.

My ferret has lost a little weight (approx 3 ounces over two weeks) and is down to 2lbs now. He is around 6 years old, but he has notbeen acting sick. He has been eating regularly....his bowel movements are normal...and he is still playing. Any idea why he may be losing weight, ...
