Idea's/Suggestions on Zoe's problems16 Dec 2003 13:46 GMT3
OK, I have a 6 1/2 year old MF ferret.  She lost her partner about 8
months ago from Spinal cancer.  They were together for about 5 years.
We've moved to a new house 3 months ago.  Needless to say there was
alot of change for her going on.  I've spent much more time with her
Hiccups16 Dec 2003 06:24 GMT2
Kenny my three and a half year old Ferret gets hiccups quite a lot. I
usuually hold him and stroke his tummy down. Is there are reason anybody can
think of?
He is fed Whiskas Cat biscuits. I've discussed the feeding recently again

We bought our son a television for Christmas, and the furkids got a great
toy; the box.
It was a 20" TV, so the box is about 3' square.  We cut some holes round the
bottom and stuck in some of their plastic tubes, then threw in a nice noisy
Thinking a vet trip is in order15 Dec 2003 22:51 GMT20
Grey, a three year old ferret, seems to be getting skinnier and skinnier.
He isn't visibly skinny, but when I pick him up you can feel his bones very
clearly.  It's rather sick feeling to me; my g/f says she's affraid to pick
him up.  Also, he doesn't care about playing any more.  ...

banned to cage forever?15 Dec 2003 04:09 GMT92
My youngest ferret has turned out to be great.  He's about 14 weeks
now, and on his best behavior.  He actually returns to the cage to use
the litterbox, and has never done business on the house floor.
The older one (8 months) however, doesn't seem to learn.  I've tried
Ferrets and noise/disruptions13 Dec 2003 19:23 GMT22
My 2-year old ferret has adjusted to supervised playtime out of cage
in the morning and late at night.
I moved recently and work from home, so now she and I will share my
office.

I just got off the phone with a very nice lady by the name of Pam
Rajala. She is the Customer Service Manager with Visionary. After I
related our on going saga with our own personal hate-monger, Gary
Schooley, and his incessant habit of trying to choke down this group

I feel so behind in all the posts.  For all those that have lost fuzzies
lately, I'm so sorry.  For those that have added to their family,
congratulations.
I've been so busy with work lately (today is my only day off).  We added a
Do you "create" a hidey hole space?13 Dec 2003 00:18 GMT6
Thanks for your recent input on "noise/disrutptions" impact on
ferrets.  I am happy to report after week one with Hana, queen of the
"courtesy poo"* in my office at home, she sleeps like a log all day
long despite my talking on the phone and various noises. She wakes up

Ferret Fridge Magnets!12 Dec 2003 15:47 GMT7
I checked over at Ferret Central and it seems more than half the links go to
404 pages.  Someone needs to update it and include my page in the "products"
section!  OK, now for the spam message... ;-)

Can ferrets hear dog whistles?12 Dec 2003 15:40 GMT5
...or other high pitched sounds that humans can't hear?
I only ask because of a TV show that's been on tonight.  It's a mad science
program called Brainiac that does the tests you'd love to try,  (like
putting a CD in the microwave on high, and finding out how unbreakable
Busy night at our house11 Dec 2003 01:10 GMT2
As winter is making it's way through Oklahoma, "we" found ways to entertain
ourselves this evening by the fireplace.
Sherman decided he is imprinted on the dog's stuffed pelican again.
Problem: the pelican does not fit through the crack in the cabinet door (due
