Amazing Opportunity19 Jan 2004 21:23 GMT3
Hi Fuzzy Folks,
I want to take a few minutes of your valuable time to give you more
information on the raffle that I am doing for Ferrets Unlimited Ferret
Shelter.  I think my prior post didn't do this raffle justice.

Of the three ferrets that I've ever owned, all three were pet store
ferts.  I've been thinking that I want to try and purchase my next fert
from a local breeder.  How does the lifespan of the local bred fuzzies
compare to the lifespan of the pet store fuzzies?  I know the ones in ...

I just check out the IKEA website - and they have play tunnels and
tents for kids, ranging between 9.90 - 11.50 euro's... how cool is
that? :D Will check that out this weekend.
formal apology from Ben Stiller18 Jan 2004 02:28 GMT10
He came forward and made a formal apology to ferrets and ferret owners
across the world on the Today Show this morning.  While I don't think he
truly regrets his comments, as they were made "as a joke", I do think he has
felt the pressure of the ferret community.  He read some of ...
Good intentions...17 Jan 2004 17:49 GMT2
Well, my good intentions of adopting a shelter ferret were blown out of
the water last Saturday.
After an afternoon of shopping with the keeper, we decided to stop by a
pet shop to which we had been given a gift card.  Of course I had to look at
Suitable pet dog for my fuzzies16 Jan 2004 15:29 GMT28
I have two ferrets (Tag a male and Roxy a female).  I am considering getting
a dog for my apartment and naturally want to make sure that the breed I pick
is compatible with ferrets.  Does anyone have suggestions for a small dog
breed that will work?  Do's and don'ts will both be ...

as you know, Buster, an un-neutered 8-month male arrived on Thrusday,

dogs and ferrets?15 Jan 2004 13:33 GMT14
Can anybody suggest breeds of dogs that typically do well with ferrets.
My husband and I are considering adopting a dog, and we want to be
sure it can (generally) get along with ferrets.
We wouldn't mind a mutt...

George's final update14 Jan 2004 23:29 GMT22
I just wanted to let you all know that we had to put George to sleep
tonight.  His lumps started to come back even with the use of Pred.  Friday
he wasn't able to poop, then over the weekend he wasn't able to pee and he
started to cry at every potty attempt (which there were many).  ...

Hey there,
Buster is 8 months old, not yet neutered... and joined my home last
night. He's my first ferret, after 4 rats (that of course live in
another room) and comes from a local pet store. Yes, I should have gone
alpha male?12 Jan 2004 00:27 GMT12
Do fuzzies hash things out in a group and have an "alpha?"  Of our crew of
four, I can't really detect a "dominent" weasel.  Boris & Gadget wrestle a
lot, but to me, there's no clear, consistant "winner."
What are your observations?
