Wild mice in the house11 Jan 2004 21:45 GMT14
We have discovered mice in our house.  I don't want the ferrets to get
bit by or try to kill theise mice, because I have no idea what the
mice are carrying.  Any ideas how to get rid of them?

Ferrets and rabbits11 Jan 2004 20:03 GMT8
Last week I had the opportunity to meet someone's pet rabbit.  It was a
full-sized one, not one of the dwarf varieties, and it was very cute and
affectionate.  It let me pet it and licked my other hand whenever I did so.
Anyway, this got me thinking as to whether it would be ...

digbox made of snow ?11 Jan 2004 08:24 GMT4
Once in a while on the web I see these pics of fuzzies happily playing
in the snow.  They look quite happy, all this white stuff to dig in
and roll around in.  What I am wondering, is it ok for ferrets to have
a couple minutes in the snow?  I was gonna fill my bathtub with it (we

2 males (1.5 & 2yrs old) large 3 level cage, 3 litter boxes, food dish,
water bottle, toys. Very loveable and playfull. Play well with dogs, cats
unknown. We haven't had the time to give them the attention that they need.
So if there is any loving family's out there that would like ...
ferrets maybe?10 Jan 2004 18:50 GMT48
I had some hampsters for my daughters.  However they were too rough
with them and unfortunatley they died.  One got sick the other had wet
bottom disease from stress.  I really love the little guys, easy to
care for and cute.  However, my girls need something bigger.

Ferret Shaking10 Jan 2004 15:47 GMT14
I took my ferret Grey to the vet today to get blood work and x-rays.
This was all from earlier when I thought he felt skinny, very lethargic,
and scratches/nibbles at his skin all the time.
I have to wait for the blood test results, but today there is another

Of course I've still been quite tearful while letting the fuzzbutts out.
Well...I guess to be honest I've been tearful regardless of whether the
ferrets are around me or not.  But anyways, my story has to do with the
ferrets.  I was feeling sad and looking at the cage and missing ...
Introducing four ferrets to a 3 year old cat09 Jan 2004 11:24 GMT2
We have 4 ferrets, 2 hobs - 2 gills.
They are coming up to a year old.  We have two old (14+) cats that don't
like 'em much.
We have a 3 year old cat that seems interested - and it doesn't look like

Spleen has gotten a bit large. Hopefully the rest of the
insides look OK. Didn't for Natasja years ago.
She's a bit old, so I'm not sure if this is recommended in
all cases, but since she's very active I think she's got a
Update on NW GA ferret09 Jan 2004 04:47 GMT1
On one hand I'm glad, and on the other disappointed that the people decided
to keep their ferret.  I'm glad because I think (hope) that this means they
will not set him loose to fend for himself.  At least now they know that
there are people who can help them if they ever decide to ...
Baby vs. Fuzzums :o) 08 Jan 2004 13:18 GMT1
Hi all,
In late April of last year I asked if anyone had experience with a
new baby  & the fuzzies.  I got a few responses from here, but a lot
of negative emails off list.  Most saying that we might have to get
Ferret Colours - help needed08 Jan 2004 04:24 GMT6
My name is Sharon and I'm trying to write an article for my local ferret
club newsletter.  I'd like to write an article on ferret colours ie what
colour is dominant to what and what if I breed this with that what will I
get.  I have tried the ferret genetics list but no one has ...
Needy NW Ga. ferret08 Jan 2004 02:13 GMT15
My sister just told me about a ferret that is possibly in need in the NW
Georgia area.  I'm hoping that I can find some help for the little guy by
posting.
On a recent visit to her sister in law's home, my sis learned that they had
