my ferret keeps biting his brother =(06 Mar 2004 04:24 GMT10
My ferret Baloo keeps biting his brother Bagheera... =(
Especially when he's not comfi laying in his pillow or on his hammock he
tries to move his bigger bro around so he can use him for a headrest. They
get into real fights over this in which Bagheera always ends up giving Baloo
Help with older ferret05 Mar 2004 19:04 GMT8
This is my first post here, but I need help. My oldest ferret is getting
really rough looking. She's missing almost all her fur on her tail, and it's
thin everywhere else. She also has a problem eating solid food, I have to
pour water on her food to soften it for her. Also she ...
Group has lost touch.05 Mar 2004 05:13 GMT11
When I first came here this group was cool, but I don't know if it was the
trolls or what but it has turned into a bunch of old fogey flame-contest
threads. So I will not be hanging around anymore and if you want info
without having the bullshit attitudes don't waste your time here.

let's talk about diet04 Mar 2004 21:04 GMT2
We're going to get a dog in a few months and I've been researching dog
diets. I've been particularly interested in the BARF (Bones and Raw
Food) diet that so many people are talking about.
Now, I know that there has been much discussion in the past on this
Nail clipping04 Mar 2004 01:39 GMT11
I have one ferret who seems like he doesn't know that scruffing is supposed
to calm him down.  He bites and scratches and squirms so badly that we can't
hold him long enough to clip his nails.  NONE of the other ferrets do this -
they are all wonderful.

Newbie delurk LONG03 Mar 2004 04:57 GMT4
I'm getting my first ferret Sunday and have been here a few weeks
doing research.  I'm not sure that this newsgroup is for me (I'm
not used to flaming posts, we don't get them very often on the
quilting and clutter newsgroups I participate in), but I do need

A local paper carries a weekly cartoon called Partially Clips and it
features 2 little mink this week.
Dan thinks the writer must have or know someone with mink

Seizure02 Mar 2004 15:56 GMT9
Hello, everyone. Most of you don't know me. I do see a few names that I
still know. I stop in now and then to say hello and see how everyone is
doing. Today I'm here to talk about a different topic... seizures.
Around 11:30 p.m., just as I was falling asleep, I heard my ferret ...
Biting habit02 Mar 2004 14:22 GMT7
Hi, We got a beautiful silver-ish (Marshalls maybe?) ferret a few
weeks ago for $30.00 from the local small town pet shop..She was
brought back because she bit and the shop owner thinks she was abused,
since the guy that brought her back made certain statements (I don't
Rambling02 Mar 2004 09:05 GMT7
I think I've posted I rehab biters for the local shelter and the occassional
kit who needs more attention than the breeder has time for.
I've got this big, fine point sable boy, about 6 mos old.  He was one that
grabbed, let go to get a better hold and held on tight.  He had to be ...
Honeynut Cheerios01 Mar 2004 21:19 GMT18
I give my fuzzies Honeynut Cheerios as a treat for them.  I have to be
careful because they'll stop eating their Marshall food if I give them too
much.
Also, does anybody know whether the sugar in the cheerios has any adverse
