| cats and ferrets, puppies and ferrets | 19 Apr 2004 19:56 GMT | 7 |
Having read lots of this type of post recently I am somewhat concerned. It seems that ferret owners seem to thinnk it funny or amusing when the ferrets bite and drag cats and puppies about. I don't find it funny at all and am sickened that a group of animal

| More cats & ferrets | 19 Apr 2004 00:03 GMT | 12 |
I know there was a recent discussion about kittens and ferrets; I found it usefull. I've been thinking about getting a cat for my ferrets and me, and I was curious if anyone had any comments on any specific breeds of cat. I'm leaning toward a tonkinese

Background: Ok, I have 2 fuzzies. One is quite calm, the other is exactly opposite and is quite physical when he plays. Problem:

| Ferretone and FerretVite | 18 Apr 2004 01:08 GMT | 2 |
Is 8in1 the only company to produce Ferretone, and FerretVite? I bought both yesterday, and noticed they are in different looking packages now. Anyway, I don't know if they changed something in the ingredients or what, but Zane is the only one who likes Ferretone now, and ...

| Damn Lawn Care People | 17 Apr 2004 23:50 GMT | 2 |
Well, I guess the furballs won't be going out in the yard any time soon--the lawn chemical people sprayed today!! :-( Anyone have an idea how long I should wait to go back out there?

| odd... | 16 Apr 2004 18:37 GMT | 5 |
Went out the other night and got the kids some major tubage. A bunch of 4" PVC drain pipe (the kind with holes) and elbows, tees & couplings. Cut the pipe into 2' sections and just slip-fit things together so it's easily rearranged & stored.

| Snoopy's final 48 hours | 16 Apr 2004 17:44 GMT | 3 |
Well, I had to make the call. On Saturday morning my baby girl, Snoopy, is going to be put to sleep. It's killing me to have to make this decision, and I been second guessing myself since making the appointment on Tuesday. I keep telling myself she looks so much better now then 30 ...

| So Long Dear Gwen! | 16 Apr 2004 17:16 GMT | 9 |
I just wanted to let the group know that today is Gwen's final day of her struggle with cancer. We had planned to say goodbye to her last Saturday, but she took an upturn so we decided to give her a few more days. I'm glad we did, as she did have some quality time since then.

| Cap and Tracker love affair | 16 Apr 2004 03:30 GMT | 3 |
I know they had a love affair over their ferrets. Did they ever figure out if the ferrets were more important than their love for each other? I think the ferrets win. Ferrets are the best, and all the rest should be married.

| Dog and ferret | 16 Apr 2004 00:39 GMT | 11 |
No flames please I have beagle/terrier mix puppy. He's about 5 mos old. He absolutely adores the ferrets. He sits in front of the cages and yips and entices them to play. I've seen him play one sided chase games trying

| Ferret Games - Elaboration needed. | 16 Apr 2004 00:37 GMT | 4 |
My little boy Loki likes to run inside a plastic walmart bag (makes noise). That seems rather standard as I understand ferrets. But a game I've learned to play with him, is once he's in the bag, I get it by the handles, carefully and smoothly sling it ino the air about 7ft

| From the Vet | 16 Apr 2004 00:36 GMT | 14 |
I don't like the idea of burying--people or animals--so I had Grey cremated. Wendy went and got his ashes today, and the vet also gave her a nice little present bag. Inside the bag was a Rainbow Bridge card that everyone signed, and something in nice wrapping paper. Well I

| Questions about switching to Revolution | 15 Apr 2004 02:24 GMT | 1 |
I'm going to switch to Revolution instead of Advantage, and was wondering a few things. How much do you use? After stopping Advantage, how long do I need to wait until I start using the Revolution instead? I think Revolution will be better, because of all the additional pests

| After Adrenal/Pyometra Surgery? The least I need to know? | 14 Apr 2004 07:36 GMT | 7 |
Haven't posted in awhile but have continued to read about all of your ferrets. Condolences to all who have lost fuzzies. My little girl Xena underwent emergency surgery today for stump pyometra and left adrenal removal ( not the emergency but took it out while she was

| Adrenal surgery | 13 Apr 2004 18:39 GMT | 1 |
Took Harry to the vet. She has put him on prednisone. I am to continue with the antibiotics. She is going to xray him tomorrow morning. Whatever she finds, it will still mean surgery because of the adrenal. She doesn't know whether he is strong enough for surgery. Why she ...
