Chocolate Addiction?13 Apr 2004 17:20 GMT48
I know chocolate is a bad thing for animals...yada yada yada... but
I've always believed in moderation in anything yeilds no bad results.
Anyhow, about a year ago my two fuzzies (Loki, Luna) managed to get
into some mini reeses cups (yeah, chocolate and foil in the same meal)
Looking for Company Website13 Apr 2004 02:08 GMT5
I am looking for the Midwest Cage company website.  Anyone have it?  I
did a Google, and came up with 67 million pet stores that sell them.
(Looking for a 54" dog crate.  Want to know if they make a foldable
version, as they weigh 92 pounds.... the crate, not the dog.)
Yogies!13 Apr 2004 01:57 GMT6
WOW! What a difference some tasty treats can make. My fuzzbutts love the
Yogies (Banana Raisin Flavor). I give them each a handful, one at a time,
and the next thing I know they're both hanging around me all the time. One
even curled up on my lap and went to sleep while I was ...
Follow up to "Rescued a Ferret today"13 Apr 2004 01:50 GMT2
Ended up with a ferret who had been abandoned or escaped. Survived outside
for at least 3 weeks on cat food left out for him. Seems very healthy and
happy. Very, very lovable - very active - stools look normal - no sneezing
or coughing - no bite marks or injuries. Found a couple of ...
Adrenal surgery12 Apr 2004 23:28 GMT7
Harry has been diagnosed with a lump,  probably adrenal.  He's on
antibiotics at the moment because he has diarreoh and isn't eating.  I have
made some Bob's chicken gravy, he eats some if hand fed.
At first I didn't want to believe it, the thought of having one of my boys
cage help, please...12 Apr 2004 20:00 GMT8
While I am happy with the cage itself, the plastic floors & ramps leave a
lot to be desired.  Hence, I would like to replace them with wood.
What I need help with is finishing the wood.  What sort of stuff should I
use to *safely* seal & finish it?  I'm thinking a thick coat of ...
New board access12 Apr 2004 19:14 GMT4
Trying to learn the new Usenet access I am using.  It is all WRONG!
The threads read backwards and it takes forever to read through the
posts!
Ow, ow, ow, ouch!!12 Apr 2004 16:18 GMT2
Was lying on the floor letting the ferrets run all over me (tee hee, pun
intended) and playing with them, when Gilbert wanted to get a closeup look
at my face, so I just closed my eyes and let him sniff and snort
around......until he 'kit-nipped' me right on the eyelid of my right ...
They got a bath12 Apr 2004 05:18 GMT4
Since it was kind of warm today I filled the bath tub with some water and
and let them go in,  and let them get wet and swim, this is the first time I
let them do that.  They flopped around for like 3 or 4 minutes then we
toweled them off and let them run free...  I figured that was ...
So Cute!12 Apr 2004 05:15 GMT1
My youngest one, Kit-Kat, is lying curled up on a ball on the couch snoozing
right now. She's so cute to watch. I even managed to slip in a quick nail
trim while she was napping. Amy, my slightly older one, keeps jumping up to
see if Kit is awake yet. She's done it three times now. ...
more cage questions...11 Apr 2004 19:03 GMT2
First of all, thanks to those who have offered advice thus far.  Kylie's pet
human is, I'm afraid, far more of a woodsmith than I; that is one
first-class piece of work!  What sort of material did you use on the ramp
for traction?
amazing....11 Apr 2004 18:47 GMT5
A while back, I posted the news about how much the kids love our new wood
laminate floor.  Apparently, they like it so much, they don't want to soil
it!  We've had only 1 *one* poop on the new floor in almost three weeks!

Shots Schedule11 Apr 2004 04:41 GMT7
Just bought a nice female - lots of fun and energy. She's had her first
distemper shots. Can anyone tell me what shots the ferrett should get??
Bonding? and more...11 Apr 2004 02:39 GMT9
So my little fuzzbuts are about 16 weeks old now. This is the first time
I've ever raised ferrets on my own. A dorm buddy in college had one but he
was grown when I met him.
My little girls are Amy and Kit. I've had them about a month now and they
Recued a ferret today10 Apr 2004 18:57 GMT6
Wife called from work today and said "Guess what! - We have another
ferret!". Freind of hers (who knows we're ferret lovers) called and told her
about the ferret that has been running around in the bushes outside her
apartment for the past 3 weeks or so. A neighbor had been leaving ...
