Gwen is nearing the bridge...09 Apr 2004 20:44 GMT4
Wanted to give the group an update on our baby Gwen's battle with stomach
cancer.  Although she had two really good days last Friday and Saturday, acting
almost like her old self,  late Saturday night she had some type of reaction,
or conflict between two of her medications.
Maybe OT - What the Heck???09 Apr 2004 12:04 GMT5
So, what's goin on w/ these posts? One of my posts showed up as being
written by someone else, & none of the posts I'm seein have *anything* at
all to do w/ the subject.....if there's even a subject listed. A lot of
posts have nothing but combinations of numbers & letters & crap.
Bringing home another biter09 Apr 2004 05:35 GMT5
The receptionist at my vet's rescued a ferret kit doomed to be put
down due to being a nasty, vicious biter.  If I can turn her around
there is a home lined up for her.
I've gotten her home, learned she is an excape artist like my Artie.
Question.  Need Help.09 Apr 2004 05:32 GMT2
My little girl has a watery eye should i take her to the vet?

There is no such thing as a spoiled Ferret,
just varying degrees of neglect.

Spam from VoteNader.org?  (Or naderexplore04.org)
You may have received spam email recently that appears to come from our
campaign, or be about our campaign -- perhaps the "From" and or
"Reply-to" addresses look like they are coming from VoteNader.org. Or

Teeth07 Apr 2004 12:13 GMT3
My ferret has 3 and a half pointed tooth. He broke one of the top ones when
he had a fight with another ferret when a baby. Vet apparently filed it and
it's shorter but seems to cause no problems. However. The other top pointed
tooth seems to me to be over growing as it now comes ...

Our fuzzbutts are a constant source of surprise, aren't they?
One of my cats has a fractured pelvis and the tail is separated from the
spine, leaving the poor thing immobile (until his pelvis heals) and with no
bladder or bowel function. My baby girl, SallyMae, found the cat on ...
got a question for you guys...06 Apr 2004 12:59 GMT6
Hey everyone...I have another question about Brodie.
My little boy has insulinoma and adrenal disease.  He was originally diagnosed
with insulinoma last year, the adrenal disease was a diagnosis from this past
November.  He seems to have his meds straight now but the past year has ...
I'm thinking its time to let Husky go06 Apr 2004 12:57 GMT3
Husky is among my first 10 ferrets.  The first 5 are long gone.  He's
about 7 yrs old.  Was a big friendly silver mitt that I used for
education days and outings for about 4 yrs.  I like to retire my
educational ferretss around 4 yrs of age.
BRIAN:  Re  Grey05 Apr 2004 20:31 GMT2
It's a possibility that getting some subQ fluids into him at the vet would
perk him up, possibly even turn him around.....he's a realllly sick little
guy tho.  What I would do is try to get him to the vet for re-evaluation,
subQfluids, then if they make a difference, keep taking him ...
Hahaha Razor wagged his tail...05 Apr 2004 17:21 GMT6
I was on the floor tonight and I have a box that I cut some holes in so they
can play with it, and Razor went in one side and I blew in another and tail
started wagging a mile a minute it was so cute to watch...  The like playing
with me, I send them to the chair via air from about ...
Baby Ferret Cam04 Apr 2004 22:24 GMT1
Hi, I'm not sure how my friend came about this link, or if you've already
seen it, but I thought I'd share it with all of you. It's a live streaming
webcam of a momma ferret and about 8 babies. My guess, about 3-4 weeks old,
but I'm not an expert on babies.
