Hammocks per fuzzum?  Fuzzums per cage?  31 May 2004 17:53 GMT3
What's the maximum number of fuzzies you'd put in a cage who's
dimensions are 30 in L x 24 in W x 48 in H.  Here's the full thing
with description.  I already have two of these.

4 +1+1+1 name suggestions?  Longish sorry!  31 May 2004 11:56 GMT5
To re-name or not to re-name that is the question!
We've come to own three more fuzzums in one day.  Two are brothers &
ones a pretty albino, that we "THINK" is an albino, but her eyes are
so dark we can't tell if they're red or black!  Depending on the light
Strange problem: pseudo-estrus and incontinence29 May 2004 21:11 GMT6
My Frettchen is having a strange medical problem which has so far baffled
three vets, so I thought I'd post here to see if anyone has experienced
similar problems with their fuzzies.
Frettchen was born in June 2003.  In January I had her spayed by a local

BEWARE OF WOOD PELLETS FOR ANIMAL BEDDING!
Wood pellets are made for heating not bedding animals. Pet owners who
use wood pellets for bedding because they may be cheaper should be
aware of the following information:

I am an aficionado of the Bulwer-Lytton contest
(www.bulwer-lytton.com) and I found the following entry rather
amusing:

where do ear mites come from?29 May 2004 18:07 GMT22
DC is running about rubbing his ears along the carpet again.  He's done this
before but not as determindly as this evening.  No-one has dirty external
ears, and no-one else is scratching theirs, so I doubt it's mites (do we
even get them in the UK, anyway?)  I have no other animals, ...
Found Ferret: Mt Kisco, NY29 May 2004 05:01 GMT3
I picked up a ferret today from a lady who found him near a chinese
restaurant in Mt Kisco, NY. ("We no can cook dis!  Dis not cat!")   If
anyone knows who his humans might be, please put them in touch with me.  The
local shelter (Joanne) is full, so he's staying here for now.
Food Digger-Outer! *sigh*29 May 2004 01:19 GMT17
Okay the new babies came with some weird box type feeder thing.  The
boys eat Marshalls stinky fishy food & MisD had some kaytee food with
berry bits in it!  She likes Freddy's Iams & Zupreem mix so we have
that set out for her, but i'm not sure if it's the feeder or her
Boris...28 May 2004 06:35 GMT2
Our younger hob, Boris, has found a new way to move stuff around.  He, like
all ferrrets, likes to hide toys (and whatever else he can get hold of.)
He's figured out how to transport items he can't carry with his mouth - he
grabs them with his front feet and backs up, using only his ...
Neat Ferret Toys!27 May 2004 21:14 GMT13
I was surfing around on eBay the other day and came across this guy who
makes all kinds of neat toys for ferrets. He's quite clever!   Check it out:

Ferret art26 May 2004 10:39 GMT3
I'm looking for a simple line-drawing of the side-view of a ferret
with its back arched as if it were pouncing on something and just
landed...

Where to buy syringes?25 May 2004 05:19 GMT6
Hi.  My ferret Riki has IBD, and as such will be taking oral
Prednisone by syringe for the rest of his life.  My vet has been good
about giving us freebies whenever we ask for them, but we go through a
lot of syringes and I'd like to have a source where I can buy them
