Introducing...25 May 2004 03:37 GMT1
Rascal. (Is that a good name?) A ~3 month old hob. This makes number 3.
I've been wrestling over whether or not to get him for a little over a
week now. Found him at my local PetCo. He's a ball of energy unlike any
others I've seen yet. This boy likes to get airbourne. He was ...
Middle name help!25 May 2004 03:35 GMT1
Sheesh I don't post this much in a six month period!
My darling, teenaged, skin brats think everything should have a middle
name for some reason!  Probably because when they're in trouble both
first & middle name is used in a very strong voice that usually has
The three new brats! 25 May 2004 03:00 GMT1
Good Goddess!  Talk about a tempest in a teapot!  It's like living
with three tornadoes all going in different directions & ending up in
the same place in the end causing major storm damage!
They all three want the socks off your feet.  Usually at once!
Pet names24 May 2004 07:51 GMT20
Just to post something pet related...
How did you name your pets? Where do the names come from? My first
ferret I named Priss because my little nephew called her "Little Miss
Prissy" when I first got her, and I told him I hadn't thought of a name

I was wondering whether anyone's ferrets here walk around backwards?
Max does it often. He's hilarious :-).

Moulting.21 May 2004 21:19 GMT4
Kenny's moulting quite a bit. I assume that's because of the change in the
weather as none of my cats and the dog has any unwanted jumping beasties.
There was a discussion re hairball remedies and I'll look for a Cat one next
time I go to the town. What I'm worried about is how much ...

Can my ferret get my ear infection? 21 May 2004 11:17 GMT3
Just curious, i had to get an antibiotic for my ear pain and was wondering
if by handling Wilson will he be able to get the infection? I knew about the
flu, but was never told about ear infections.... Tree pollen is bad in the
East and i think it is just really bad allergies.
Ohh I have the verret fever21 May 2004 07:52 GMT5
I had to go to the mall today and while my other half went to the jewlry
store I went to the pet store.  I found another ferret and I just fell in
love with, she was so pretty.  I want her, so I have to come up with $150 so
I can get her.  If I get her I'll post pics on my website ...
Ferret Traveling in a Car21 May 2004 05:34 GMT6
Hello everyone. Next week, I am wanting to take my ferret to see my
family which is about an hour and a half away. I have an SUV and I was
trying to find out the best way to transport him. When I take him
close places, I have a smaller carrier, but for this long ride, do you
Ferret sick =-(21 May 2004 05:23 GMT2
I let my 6 year old ferret out tonight and gave him a bath. When I let
him go afterwords he was walking very odd. Looked drunk almost. Like
his back legs were not working. He just stood there in a daze and even
standing still he was rocking back and forth. He is eating I think he
ferret learns to climb brick!21 May 2004 01:39 GMT7
It's one new trick after another...  This time, one of our ferrets has
learned to climb brick!  The interior of the house is all brick, with
about 1/4" sticking out past the grout/cement.  We found the younger
one on the stove this morning, and couldn't figure out how he got
bronchitis20 May 2004 23:56 GMT7
Susan (my wife) has bronchitis.  We have been keeping her away from the
fuzzies as much as possible.  Is this something they can contract from us?

Trooper cant move his back legs what could it be?20 May 2004 18:07 GMT27
Trooper is going to be 3 years old in July.  He has been very healthy but
about 3 days ago he started staying in the bottom level of his 5 story
home.  We thought at first it was just a phase he was going through and
that he just had found a new place to lay down in some of his ...

I'm writing this letter out of sheer desperation, I hope that perhaps
you'll take the time to read it.
I am a 25-year-old Medical Resident working in Pennsylvania. I
completed medical school a couple years ago on partial scholarship. My
