While some people may hate the daily rain and clouds in the sky, I
personally am enjoying them ;-)  I didn't see any rain, and I saw
absolutely no rain in the desert.  And oh the wonderful green, green
grass ;-)
How secure is your Windows Computer?29 Jun 2004 05:31 GMT189
Let's all go to our C:Windows Directory after we have made all of our
files in this directory visible.  Tell the group the names of the
Folders and Files which show as a light color and let's discuss this.
Dangerous code is always discovered in this directory and but you
wilson and rat tail question? 26 Jun 2004 01:05 GMT11
Curious if this is serious or not. Before wilson had blackheads on his tail.
i cleaned them with antibacterial soap and it went away. Now his tail from
the tip to about an inch before the end is turning an orange/yellowish. I
did the same thing and it appeared a little better. No ...
Bruno can track Thomas again.....26 Jun 2004 01:00 GMT6
Bruno came to us March 23, 2003.  He had gotten away from his Mommy &
was in the care of a very nice lady.  We met him & Thomas, who had
also found wandering around on his own, on the same day & although
Bruno was already considered elderly & there were signs of insulinoma
Hi all25 Jun 2004 20:52 GMT5
Had to say I read some posts and pretty interesting.  I have 20 uncaged
ferrets who all get along, now 25 mice, 1 rat (use to rescue rats, but
their life span is too short for me); 1 gerbil.  All STRICTLY pets.  The
ferrets have the run of the house and I put an addition on for the ...
Carolyn crossed the Rainbow Bridge25 Jun 2004 18:15 GMT11
Carolyn was a rescue ferret and part of a 4 pack from the Utah rescue.  She
was the only one left.  Carolyn and her cagemates were old when we got them.
All 4 were exceedingly sweet tempered after coming from the deplorable
conditions they had been kept in.  It took them time to ...
Houdini needs adrenal surgery25 Jun 2004 02:45 GMT4

My daughter and I were asked by a local ferret shelter to rescue 2
ferrets in early March of this year (2004).  We were happy to do it.
The shelter promised to take on a large portion of the cost of adrenal

And she slept like a darling and had a great appetite.
I recommend giving it to ferrets.

Ferrets and Parrots23 Jun 2004 13:01 GMT4
I was wondering if anyone had adice on the viability of keeping both a ferret a
parrot and a conure as a pet. Would, the ferret spend all day trying to figure
out how to eat the birds? Would raising it with the birds from a kitten do the
trick? Would I just have to make sure that ...

I'm glad to have found this newsgroup.  I love reading all of the posts
about your ferrets.  I've found lots of useful information that I have
learned from and read many funny stories that I can relate to.
I have 4 ferrets, 2 boys and 2 girls. Our first is a ferret that we bought
Safe pesticides ???22 Jun 2004 22:29 GMT9
Are there any safe pesticides to use around ferrets? When I finished out
this room in the shop last fall, I really thought it was sealed up, but
these last few weeks have me wondering if I really did a good job. I
spent about 1.5 to 2 hours with my ferrets last night and in that ...
chewy rubber toys?21 Jun 2004 02:17 GMT19
Our fuzzie, Cosmo, just loves to chew on rubber. The problem is that
he destroys it way too fast. He tears through latex squeak toys in less
than a day. Hence, I stoppe getting them for him. I did get him a hard
rubber ball with a bell in it, but he doesn't care for it too much. ...

black ferret20 Jun 2004 23:24 GMT3
In two weeks time I pick up my new kit.  I have a choice of colour, one of
which is a black , probably more true poley.  Can anyone tell me if there is
definitely a difference in behaviour in a black ferret. Are they definitely
more wild or is that just a opinion the same as some ...
Older male, Young female..20 Jun 2004 22:44 GMT21
I've had my male ferret (Polle) for almost 4 years now, and 2 weeks ago
we got a 8 weeks old female (Matilde), hoping that they would have a
load of fun together..
..BUT..
