Dental problems, followup20 Jun 2004 07:18 GMT7
Quasimodo's problem with the front tooth was that it was actually damaged
and infected.  They say it was most likely painful.
So, he had to have it taken out on Tuesday.  He's back and has ceased
chewing the food bowl, so I guess that was it.

As I've said before, not sure how webshots links appear to others, but here

I think I may be taking Rascal to the vet sooner than I anticipated. And
Priss and Buster too. Rascal has had a problem finding the correct place
to use the restroom. Starting to get a little annoyed, I decided to
leave his mess where he deposited it for a few days. I was hoping ...

Ferret Footage available for download at my site15 Jun 2004 11:32 GMT10
I have just uploaded a short themed film of Max to my website. It is 20Mb large,
so I suggest you use a download accelerator unless you have Broadband.
It took me ages to upload -- so please take a look and let me know what
you think. Though a little simple, I'm really happy with it ...
Nat'l Zoo BFF had babies.....15 Jun 2004 05:45 GMT1
Bird had her babies Thursday.  She gets a bit flustered when they take
off in two directions, but she seems a good mommy.  They're awfully
cute, but if you're not careful you'll find yourself sitting & staring
& waiting for someone to move. lol

Moving house tips?14 Jun 2004 13:41 GMT3
In 2 weeks we are moving half-an-hour away. It is not a trip we are making
in one go: there will be much back-and-forthing for a day or even two. It
may be disruptive to Avalon.
Any recommendations on whether one should move her and her cage FIRST or
Biggest object they've taken14 Jun 2004 00:07 GMT22
What's the biggest object your ferrets have hidden on you?
Last Sunday during play time Razzle decided the mop needed to be under the
couch.  I don't know why, but that's where it had to be.  It was out in the
front hall.  She knocked it over, and started to drag it, teeth for a ...
Tonight I wait and watch...13 Jun 2004 20:11 GMT21
Today is Memorial Day. This evening, right before closing her store, a
woman called my sister and told her that the ferret she sold her a month and
a half ago is lethargic, won't eat, and he's limp. She wanted my sister to
REPLACE the ferret immediately. She didn't want her two ...

Oberon's Blood Test Results12 Jun 2004 23:19 GMT1
...are absolutely NORMAL!!!  Just got the email from Dr B a little while
ago. <huge sigh of relief>
I guess it's just time for Oberon to get a brush-up lesson on Manners, so
he'll stop mopping the floor up w/ Max at playtime.
Dental problems12 Jun 2004 19:25 GMT2
Got a new problem.  We'll be going to the vet, but want to get some
experiences if anyone has any.
Quasimodo started chewing the food bowl a couple of days ago.  I just caught
him in the act, got him out and got a look at his teeth.  There's a
