I mentioned in my other post that I had other news, but I was too tired to
post it last night.

CALIFORNIA - SB 89 PASSED THE WATER, PARKS AND WILDLIFE COMMITTEE! A FIRST!10 Jun 2004 16:09 GMT2
From: Ferretnews@aol.com
Hello all,
Today our bill passed the Assembly Water Parks and Wildlife Committee
by a 12-1 vote in favor which means it has come the furthest it has
unacceptable behavior, or just fair play?10 Jun 2004 08:15 GMT1
I had both ferrets out to play in the bedroom.  They sometimes play
rough, wrestling and biting at each others necks.  They never draw
blood or scream, and I've read that's natural and ok.
Today however, I heard a high-pitched whistle/whine/yell - not very

Need help getting Rascal to eat regularly again09 Jun 2004 07:52 GMT3
If anyone out there can help me please let me know.  Rascal stopped
eating months ago when his sister, Priss died.  I had to start feeding
him my Duck Soup recipe (Listed below) all the time.  The vet gave me
a mixture to help him with ulcer problems which he thought might be

A question for cage builders -
How do you (safely) attach carpet to ramps securely enough so that your
monster weasel cannot rip it off?

Purvax vaccine08 Jun 2004 06:29 GMT2
Well, started the "order me some purvax" search today.  Everyone has the
Ferrvac.  Seems Merril is backordered until DECEMBER!
OK - so if I remember past posts, the fervac seems to be exacerbating
vaccination reactions more frequently than the Purvax, right?  And, this

ferrets too docile07 Jun 2004 09:43 GMT9
Hi there.  I have a weird problem.  My boy ferret is not playful.  He is
about a year or so old.  He is very docile and sweet.  He likes to be held
and pet but he doesn't do a war dance very often with me.  However, for some
reason he goes crazy with the other ferret.  I don't know ...
Back from the microchip check07 Jun 2004 04:21 GMT8
I gave bronxelf a lift to the vet to have a cat (another 'found' animal,
this one by a friend of hers who is in a no pets apt, so it's with her atm)
checked out.  Since I was going anyway, I brought the ferret along to have
him scanned as well.
Out-of-context ferret funnies06 Jun 2004 20:16 GMT4
I was walking Frettchen in the city the other day when she decided to
scurry under a parked car and then flatten herself against the pavement.
"No, sweetie, you can't be a pancake under the car," I told her as I
tugged on the leash.  I then marvelled at how utterly ridiculous such ...
washin' up!06 Jun 2004 03:56 GMT11
OK OK OK...I am confused! (not the first time...lol) I am reading different
opinions on how often to bathe my ferrets. I understand too much will dry
out their skin, causing them to make more oil and STINK even more. However,
what is "too much"?
What kind of ferret is this?06 Jun 2004 03:15 GMT19
Rascal, my newest ferret, seems to me to be a little unusual in
appearance. I didn't really think much about it a first, but lately I've
been trying to figure out what color/pattern he fits in. At first glance
he looks like a silver mitt, but there are two oddities (as far as I

I have three ferrets; two boys and a girl. The girl, Rosie, I've raised
from a kit. The boys, George and Lenny (from Of Mice and Men- one is a con
artist while the other is bigger and "less aware"), I got about a month ago
from a local PetCo- they are 9 months old (approx). I ...
