Forget it22 Sep 2004 17:14 GMT2
A little more research indicates that this animal probably has not had the
best care. I don't want to start off with that kind of situation...

Do you frequent any of the Yahoo! ferret boards?  Sent someone over there,
and figured you may be the best person for her to "talk" with.  (Well, you
and Steve.)  She's a "farmer" somewhere in the boonies in England.  Has
plenty of experience with sheep and cows, but in a moment ...
Stewart ear infection, eardrum rupture21 Sep 2004 22:55 GMT10
blah!  I hate Mondays.  Stewart was staying really low to the ground &
scratching at his ears a lot this past week.  I looked in them, but
couldn't see anything.  He has a lot of hair around them, so the first
couple of times I thought maybe that was making him itchy.  Saturday I

What kind  of paint18 Sep 2004 15:50 GMT6
Some ferret and rat cages were left behind at my house.  Some have

We have a lawyer and he's been invovled with some of this.  I'm going
to small claims court over the damages.  I'll probably skip the
damages in the basement because I won't know what they are for weeks
or months.  I still need to stop by a store and get the cost of
Bubbles, the junkie17 Sep 2004 22:38 GMT5
I brought my work kit in to straighten it up and clean it out.  You know,
the normal stuff - spinal needles, large syringes, etc...  Ms. Bubbles
fought me over the syringes.  They are sealed in plastic, you know.  Ended
up crawling under the bed in the spare room to retrieve some ...
Foster Parents17 Sep 2004 04:30 GMT6
Has anyone here ever needed to find foster parents for their furkids?  I
think most of the regular people (I know you are all lurking) know my
situation with my ferrets.  Had my own, now I have my ex-girlfriend's
too.  Before she watched them when I deploy or went TDY.  But now ...
Anyone hear of a connection between E.C.E. and......15 Sep 2004 03:16 GMT4
Just got back from the vet with Julie for her Insulinoma blood
glucose check-up. While there one of the other patients owners said
she had recently read of a possible connection between E.C.E. and
unaltered ferrets (i.e. non-spay or non-neutered). Has anyone else
Very late birthday wishes15 Sep 2004 01:07 GMT12
Oh, crud. I forgot someone's birthday.
We'll have to do what we can to make up for it - Murphy! Sammy! Max! Front

DC the rat13 Sep 2004 21:06 GMT1
So there I was, standing in the kitchen making coffee when, out of the
corner of my eye, I see a furry thing on the floor.
My first thoughts: "RAT!"
