Important Developments for Ferret Legalization in California12 Oct 2004 01:19 GMT4
Bob Naylor, our lobbyist, spoke with the Governor's staff recently about his
veto of SB 89 and was told that the Governor wants to be proactive on the
ferret issue but that SB 89 was just too bureaucratic to sign into law.  I
think we have to assume that some kind of environmental ...
Beer swilling ferret11 Oct 2004 05:46 GMT7
Yesterday, my son accidentally knocked over a bottle of beer on his living
room coffee table.  He went into the kitchen to get some paper towels to
clean up the mess.  When he returned, he found Bacchus, his 4-month old
ferret, had jumped onto the table and was avidly lapping up the ...

switched his feeding habits and such.  anyway,  i am constantly having to wash

To the Members of the California State Senate:
I am returning Senate Bill 89 without my signature.
I love ferrets. I costarred with a ferret in Kindergarten Cop. However, this
Tube races07 Oct 2004 23:17 GMT2
I've read a few references here to ferrets competing in "tube races".  I can
imagine what this is, but perhaps someone could provide a more complete and
accurate description.
What is the best way to find such field competitions?  Do ferrets compete
an unexpected feast07 Oct 2004 12:16 GMT2
My little barbu d' uccle bantam cock has been lame for a few weeks now.
There was no sign of injury, no bones broken or anything. Today he was
looking decidedly unhappy and as much as I hate doing it, I culled him :0(
The ferrets got a rather rare and valuable chicken dinner though.
How do I go about finding a pet ferret?06 Oct 2004 17:06 GMT3
We live in Cornwall in the UK and after much deliberation are contemplating
getting our first ever ferret. How can I find 'good' young ferret locally?
Regards,

Ankle biting Ferret06 Oct 2004 05:48 GMT6
My little girl, Daisy really likes to bite ankles. Not
drawing blood
but perhaps simply an indication she wants attention.
It does get my attention.......
alpha-ferret & neckbiting05 Oct 2004 16:40 GMT6
okay, as some of you might know, i now have 3 siblings, and they are all
adorable, but you see, there is a slight problem, björn keeps on biting
magne's neck, and it leaves little sores. now magne and björn are best of
friends when sleeping and playing outside the cage, but inside ...
No Distemper!?05 Oct 2004 05:17 GMT13
I thought the furkids were due their annual shots last month, but it
turns out they are due in October.
Zane's butt has been red and puffy (almost swollen looking) when he goes
to the bathroom, so I wanted the vet to see him anyway and get his shot
No More Lurchers in UK?03 Oct 2004 09:51 GMT3
I was in London on holiday earlier this month, just when all the
demonstrations about fox hunting erupted around Parliament.  The
newspapers described the ban as prohibiting "hunting with dogs."  I
know that it's aimed at chasing foxes, but will it also apply to using
Request for info on Lupron Therapy02 Oct 2004 07:31 GMT3
Greetings, everyone! Please read this thoroughly to understand what I am
asking for.
As you know, Nibbles has been diagnosed with adrenal disease. While I adore
my vet, and he's done some amazing surgeries, he doesn't do adrenal surgery.
