ATTN Group, Check your headers before you post!30 Nov 2004 12:31 GMT1
The forgeries in your group are the product of an entity collectively
known as "Dippy" to us NANAE users.  His latest attack consists of
posting Forgeries to random groups, with the *Followup-To* header set
to "news.admin-net-abuse.email".  If you simply reply to these posts
Ferret biting a little too viciously30 Nov 2004 05:20 GMT14
I think this subject is common enough, as I myself have read time and time
again about ferrets nipping and the usual methods of teaching them to be
more gentle. I thought id post my particular problem to see if I can at
least understand why my little buddy is doing it.
New toy29 Nov 2004 04:28 GMT3
After leaving out an empty plastic washing up bowl I have found that two of
my ferrets enjoy flipping it over on top of themselves and running around
the carpet, it's one of the funniest ferret behaviours that I have seen yet.

HELP: Question about Vet in Clearwater FL and my sick boy28 Nov 2004 14:52 GMT4
I have a four y o boy who lately, about 2 to 3 weeks, has gotten VERY
skinny, he always went up and down in weight but this time was more
than usual and also has been sleeping and laying a lot. He also has
diarrhea mixed with, I can't explain it any better than, birdseeds.
Ferret diet23 Nov 2004 12:31 GMT2
I am presently feeding Marshalls Ferret food. And they will not
go for
anything else. They will separate it out and leave it laying.
I am a little concerned with my little runt Daisy. Her weight

After eating dogs, cats and dolphins on Thanksgiving, I'll now try
Thanksgiving ferrets.
Can you recommend some good recipes?
Ferret diet question...22 Nov 2004 04:29 GMT8
On http://home.wanadoo.nl/defret/inenten.htm I have read the following:
"Most diseases are not common and very easy to prevent, no raw porkmeat, no
raw chickenmeat or eggs (Pasteurelosses) and no spoiled food."
Those of you who feed your ferrets raw food, do you cook it prior to ...
Oxbow Carnivore care21 Nov 2004 23:10 GMT1
This past summer, I was part of a study with Oxbow for a new critical care diet
for carnivores - we fed ferrets this diet only for 5 days, weighing them each
day and reporting the results back to Oxbow - what we found is that the diet is
much more palatable than the traditional ...

Just cos I haven't seen *any* posts up for several hrs, just thought I'd see
if it's me or the ng.
Yeah, I know....I flunked.   ;-)
Urgent news!!!17 Nov 2004 20:51 GMT7
Hi all, I've copied this post from a different new group that is for the UK,
I thought it might be of some interest here and if anyone at all knows of
anyone that can help, this is a desperate situation.

My last one is gone.17 Nov 2004 00:13 GMT6
After many years as a ferret parent (five fur-kids and one very senior
foster fert), I lost my last boy, Bear, just late this previous week.
He had a low blood-sugar episode (yes, he had insulinoma) late at night,
and was rushed forty minutes' drive to an emergency clinic in ...
A few questions...16 Nov 2004 18:02 GMT2
Being a new proud owner of two ferrets (Biter and Mrva), I am interested in
medical procedures that are recommended in the near future.
Biter and Mrva are male and female fuzzies, 6 months old each. They are not
related.
Ferret Yearbooks16 Nov 2004 01:38 GMT1
Did anyone else order a yearbook from Marta?  We got ours in the mail
a couple of days ago & we've barely been able to put it down.  It's
one of the best things we've ever done with the babies & it's very
well put together.  Some of the images of the fuzzums are hilarious.
my last weekend with Rico15 Nov 2004 13:07 GMT17

MissD is a little over two & in the last two months has become
