Silly moments
I have a 1 yr old beagle/terrier mix dog, Quinn and a 4 year old black
sable ferret, Finn.  They play well together.  Quinn often goes up to
the cages and "asks" for a ferret or mink to come out ot play with him.

well i've decided to go ahead with lupron next week.  my fert has been doing SO
well, since i upped his insulinoma meds.  but with his ongoing hairloss the vet
and i have have suspected further adrenal problems for some time.  after going

Well, Sherman is going downhill fast.  He has stopped chasing the vacuum
cleaner.  He has to rest much more frequently.  Many of these rests now
consist of falling asleep in the middle of the floor.  He no longer wants to
play sock.  He has dropped so much weight.  Palpable lumps ...

Finally back, went to the U of Penn again to get Wilson. We got there and
they gave us a white box. So, the whole way home we were treating him like
he was riding shotgun as normal.

I've mostly been scanning the list rather than reading it.
Today I take a bit of time to read and I see a flame war starting
(again).  It's not like it's the first one or will be the last one.

Is there anything really bad about Marshall farms ferrets? the ones with the
2 blue dots on their ears. My gf won't let me get one from them because they
sell their fuzzies to people who experiment on them for science. just

I confess, I went and got myself a new ferret.  I currently have 12
sables and 2 albinos.  My two youngest ferrets aren't proving to be
good education day ferrets.
I went and found myself a very mellowed tempered little girl around 7

He was alert for 30 seconds and sick for the rest of the time. So we did it
peacefully. I feel great I had a chance to give him a good life. He also
ended up havinf a very enlarged slpeen due to his size and it manifested
everything else.

I have a giant 3 month old kit, when is the best time to get him desexed?
my other hob got the snip after his enjoyment of his first season, but i
want to get this one done before he gets aggressive and horny!!

I got Mike in 1995, already 1+ y/o, then added a couple kits in 1998,
Shelley and Lucy. They drove him crazy, but he was always a gentleman.
Pushed them away w/ his forepaws when he'd had enough. Shelley died in
2000 in a weird accident, Mike died Nov 2003, and I had to put Lucy

Took wilson to the vet because his one eye was closed and he was off
balance. I had a vet appt. right away on friday night. The vet told us that
is was do to trauma from falling the wrong way, could of been off my couch
etc....

We had four other ferrets in the past, but had to get rid of them cause
of where we lived.  They were the best, trained so easily, didn't bite,
and were just the sweetest ferrets our vet had seen.  Now after about a
