Silly moments
I have a 1 yr old beagle/terrier mix dog, Quinn and a 4 year old black
sable ferret, Finn.  They play well together.  Quinn often goes up to
the cages and "asks" for a ferret or mink to come out ot play with him.
trying lupron31 Jan 2005 19:54 GMT1
well i've decided to go ahead with lupron next week.  my fert has been doing SO
well, since i upped his insulinoma meds.  but with his ongoing hairloss the vet

back and forth on what to do w/the little ...
When it rains, it pours31 Jan 2005 16:08 GMT3
Well, Sherman is going downhill fast.  He has stopped chasing the vacuum
cleaner.  He has to rest much more frequently.  Many of these rests now
consist of falling asleep in the middle of the floor.  He no longer wants to
play sock.  He has dropped so much weight.  Palpable lumps ...
Picked up Wilson just now.. Finally home 29 Jan 2005 06:49 GMT7
Finally back, went to the U of Penn again to get Wilson. We got there and
they gave us a white box. So, the whole way home we were treating him like
he was riding shotgun as normal.
Anyhow so we get home and I am saying open the box so we can see what
What the hell happened here?29 Jan 2005 04:00 GMT3
I've mostly been scanning the list rather than reading it.
Today I take a bit of time to read and I see a flame war starting
(again).  It's not like it's the first one or will be the last one.
Keep your politics to yourself and use them at the voiting booth.
Marshall ferrets vs other breeders. 28 Jan 2005 19:03 GMT15
Is there anything really bad about Marshall farms ferrets? the ones with the
2 blue dots on their ears. My gf won't let me get one from them because they
sell their fuzzies to people who experiment on them for science. just
curious, that and their temperament . i have always ...

This is from Stan's online journal. He had been posting this crap on
his 'blog' on LiveJournal. In spite of their very libral  policies on
'free speech' I finaaly convinced them to pull it.
Is this relevent to ferrets? In a way as Stan is Kim S.'s husband, and
Sick Ferret -Discolored belly -?27 Jan 2005 01:09 GMT5
One of our girls is acting very slow and sick today. She has dried vomit
around the mouth, although we haven't seen her get sick. She is eating,
drinking  and pooping normally, I believe. She smells very bad(sick like -
not normal ferret smell), and has a discolored (black and ...
I needed a new ferret like I needed a hole in my head LOL!26 Jan 2005 22:18 GMT7
I confess, I went and got myself a new ferret.  I currently have 12
sables and 2 albinos.  My two youngest ferrets aren't proving to be
good education day ferrets.
I went and found myself a very mellowed tempered little girl around 7
WIlson passed away26 Jan 2005 22:17 GMT30
He was alert for 30 seconds and sick for the rest of the time. So we did it
peacefully. I feel great I had a chance to give him a good life. He also
ended up havinf a very enlarged slpeen due to his size and it manifested
everything else.

Just a note from a ferret know-it-all24 Jan 2005 00:44 GMT1
I got Mike in 1995, already 1+ y/o, then added a couple kits in 1998,
Shelley and Lucy. They drove him crazy, but he was always a gentleman.
Pushed them away w/ his forepaws when he'd had enough. Shelley died in
2000 in a weird accident, Mike died Nov 2003, and I had to put Lucy
Update on Wilson..... 23 Jan 2005 14:04 GMT2

Petersen Ferrets23 Jan 2005 00:53 GMT15
We had four other ferrets in the past, but had to get rid of them cause
of where we lived.  They were the best, trained so easily, didn't bite,

year, we have and decided to get another ferret.  We have had our ...
