Have you ever given a ferret desiccated liver? It is freeze-dried raw cow
liver.
Dog trainers and handlers sometimes use this as a "super treat", keeping a

Yesterday, my wife was fooling around with Bacchus, our 18 mos old sable
male.  She had a box of "holiday mix", salted nuts and cold cereal chunks.
