Well I think I'm finally back.  ;-)  We just finished moving (for the
most part) and I'm pooped!!  The plus side to moving is that now the
ferrets have even more room to run around!  Yea!!  Now...getting used
to the hard wood floor is another thing...  ;-)

Hi all, I am new here and have four lovely ferrets named Teddy, Titan,
Tutter and my only girl, Timper.  They are the loves of my life!  I

Hi - I have 2 ferrets that i love very much - one was giving to me
because the owners did not want him no more .
He has a broken teeth and i think looks bad becuse has a redness on the
gum - I am afraid that these will cause pain because today he was tryng

Just stopping by, saying hello. New to the group.
I live in South Florida. I have 10 ferrets, 6 girls and 4 boys.
Right now I'm dealing with a ferret who I have had since she was 4 wks
old.(She is 4 yrs old now) But now for some reason wants to bit. SHe

Well, I know nothing more than I did Wednesday.  I took Riley to the vet
yesterday morning.  Dr. Stewart tested Riley's sugar level again, and it was
in the normal range.  Blood was also drawn for a white blood cell count.
Now we're waiting on the PCR test results AND the white ...

Quasimodo had his surgery today.  The spleen did have to be removed.  They say
he's doing well.  I go to pick him up Saturday morning.
They also said he's in very good shape for a six year old.  Hopefully, he'll
have a few years to enjoy his restored health.

our roughly 5 year old ferret male lost much weight in the past week.   he
was always quite big and heavy, now is very skinny.
he doesn't have much appetite and does not drink much.   we try to force
some can food in, but ocasionally he vomits it out.. when he does keep it

My ferret slipped out of her H-harness that she's had for about two years
somewhere in the building and I can't find it.  I went down to the pet
store and all they could order were figure-8 harnesses.
Does anyone here prefer one or the other type of harness?  Is either one
