first of all many thanks to all who answered my post re "new owner"
Ive brought a large hutch with a good sized run,ivedecided to keep them in
my back yard in a sheltered spot,and bring them in for the coldest months
between december and March,unless i think theyre happier outside ...

Hello just oe more question,ive still not decided to keep the ferets indoors
or outside,i saw a cage today that would have been suitable for indoors,but
im not sure if it is ok cos it has a plastic bottom and sides,which would be
gret for cleaning,but would they chew it up?

I am talking with a ferret shelter about adopting two little guys together.
The first one seems normal and pretty stable but I am choosing one more
between two possible choices.  One has apparently had a small tail tumor
removed but is described as "good to go" by the shelter ...

Two parts of our family (my wife and myself) are leaving the country for a
year and will be unable to take our two ferrets with us.  York is an almost
