8 in 1 Ferret Vite.30 Oct 2006 22:25 GMT5
My three fuzzys liked Ferret vite, and I would give them all a little
when they were out running in the evening.
All three developed Diarrhea so took them to their vet Friday with Poop
samples from each one. The vet examined the little guys, and also the
Ferret Choking on dry food - is this common? PLEASE HELP26 Oct 2006 17:39 GMT3
I went to my vet with my 3 month old ferret and he told me I should
have her on dry food by now. I was afraid to do that because when I
tried once before she seemed to have a little trouble with it.
But as per the vets suggestion I switched to dry.

It's occured to me that though I posted about Bean joining my home many
months ago--and some of you have heard about my recent addition--I have
not formally introduced her to the group.
A couple of months ago a friend mentioned an acquaintance who owned a
Biffa has gone22 Oct 2006 23:01 GMT8
Our Biff has finally succumbed to his lymphoma, we found him in the cage
this morning.  Thankfully he'd taken a difficult decision out of our hands
as it wasn't going to be much longer anyway.
Biffa, the last of our first pair, our first albino,
Odd fur growth21 Oct 2006 03:52 GMT8
Well, actually, it's grown in normally, what's odd is how long it took.
Back in February/March Quasimodo went to have his spleen removed.  The fur at
the base of his tail had fallen out, and of course they shaved a large
rectangular patch on his belly for the surgery.  For a long ...
My Louie21 Oct 2006 03:48 GMT4
I have 2 babies that have thin tails.  One has been that way for a couple
years and the vet says she is fine.  She is about 7 yrs old now.  She
doesn't like to be touched much, but never has liked being handled much.
She is a very good girl.
Boycott, Anyone?21 Oct 2006 02:57 GMT3
Effective at about 8:30a on 19 Oct, I have been banned from entering the Pet
Supplies Plus store in Findlay, Ohio. Why, you may ask? Because when my
husband & I were in that store at around lunchtime on the day before (18
Oct), they had dried up mush for food in the ferret ...
I can't say No20 Oct 2006 16:32 GMT1
I swore up and down I would find a new home for every ferret that came
in the door.  I gave in and fell in love with a cute little boy.  He's
a Marshall's which makes him a pet store ferret.  He's good natured and
wasn't upset at the pet store where I went to pick him up.
Ferret club in London or UK?18 Oct 2006 11:34 GMT2
Is there a ferret club operating in London, or which serves the UK as a
whole?  I've found the following, but the one in London appears to be just
one person (and moreover moribund).  If anyone knows of any others, please
let me know.
Gracie post surgery15 Oct 2006 22:00 GMT4
Gracie went to the vet's office on Tues to have a bad tooth extracted.
It cost a minor fortune to have it done.  Since starting on the
antibiotics she's been feeling better and playing with her toys.  She
took the two new ones I put in and hid them behind her litter box.

We have recently been acquired by two lovely jills, 8 month old Abbey who is
a Marshall Farms fert, and 10 month old Molly who is a Triple F Farms fert.
We are loving them like crazy.  Both were picked up from previous owners who
were having to get rid of them because of moving ...

Now that Fred's Home...06 Oct 2006 15:25 GMT4
Now that Fred is home, we have realized that both him and Mick are not up to
date on their distemper shot.  I know-shame on us.  We didn't even think of
it until calling to schedule a shot for Minnie.  We have an appt. for all 3
of them set for Sat. morning.  Question is Fred is ...
