I had two ferrets a couple years ago for a couple years, and got two new ones a year ago - one male and one female. I love them heaps! However, they very suddenly smell VERY strongly after having almost no scent at all the whole time I've had them. Can anyone shed any light

Our almost 5 year old Bacchus is starting to develop a bald spot on his lower back. What does this mean? Is it normal for a ferret of his age? Does it imply a dietary deficiency? He is in otherwise good health, with good appetite and plenty of exercise. - CW
