Is there any harm in removing the female before they are finished spawning?
I don't want 50,000 babies!  What will happen to the eggs that she hasn't
expelled?

In the last couple of weeks I've bought a a mix of male and female
guppies and a pair of swordtails and kribs. The male and female
guppies were deliberately bought from different shops so as to ensure
that the male and females were not closely related.

Anyone got any ideas on a possible misidentification of whitespot here
- it's certainly confusing me - sorry for the long background, but
it's needed.

I bought a couple Amano shrimp for my 1 week old 15 gallon tank (seeded with
