Simming problem31 Aug 2003 16:25 GMT1
I have a neon tetra that seems to have a problem swimming after he's
eaten.  I have an SEA, two platies, and 3 neons in a 5 gallon tank.
Before I feed them in the morning the neons are usually together
normally.  After I feed them one of them seems to have trouble

Mounting A Compact Fluorescent Strip Light31 Aug 2003 06:16 GMT2
Today I received my 48" All-Glass Compact Fluorescent Strip Light for my 55.
I also bought an All-Glass Versa Top (2-24") since the new light wouldn't
fit on my All-Glass Deluxe Full Hood. I love the new light, it really makes
a difference but . . . I am unable to open the top very ...
Columbian Cats30 Aug 2003 23:15 GMT2
Picked myself up a Columbian Cat (silver tipped shark, or whatever other
common names they have). I wasn't going to get one as I've been warned over
and over again that they're a "bad" cat, do not get, worse than black
sharks.

DIY river tanks30 Aug 2003 02:19 GMT1
Im wondering if anyone has a site in mind that instructs on how to put
together a river tank? Or if anyone has done this before, a friend of mine

Im not so sure however so any imput would be greatly ...
bullying cory and injured cory30 Aug 2003 01:02 GMT2
I two problems with corydoras at the moment, any help much appreciated.
1) Yesterday a small (~1" SL) spotted cory did one of those "dart to the
surface and back down" runs that corys seem fond of ... problem is it
ran hard into a large rock with its head.  I saw it happen, and it ...
Converting from planted community to Cichlids29 Aug 2003 20:42 GMT3
Hi group,
Im thinking about converting my 160litre tank from its current state
as a heavily planted aquarium (co2, ferts etc) to a cichlid tank and i
have a few questions. At the moment i know nothing about cichlids but
ramshorn snail eggs as food toxic...or anything 'bad'?29 Aug 2003 16:35 GMT1
Hey all, Ive recently started a two gallon with two large ramshorns, long
story short..there are egg clusters all over the place. Some have hatched,
others (many many others have not).  What Im considering is placing
unhatched eggs into my 29g and watching the loaches go nuts over ...

Canister experiment, anyone?29 Aug 2003 04:59 GMT2
Anyone willing to perform an experiment?
Put some tankwater in a bucket.  Put the inlet hose for the canister fitler
(Fluval, Eheim, Filstar) into the bucket on the ground.  Check out what the
output is like at tank level and report back.
Trying to be algae free28 Aug 2003 21:35 GMT4
I'm completely tearing down my tank in a couple weeks in an attempt to rid
myself of algae.  I had live plants in the tank at one point which I suspect
was the initial root of the problem.
Here is my question...

become a full fish ?
Also what other fishes are compatible with them.
