| Pigmy cory with no tail | 23 Oct 2003 15:10 GMT | 3 |
I just noticed one of my pigmy corys struggling to swim. When I got close to investigate, I saw his tail fin is gone! Water parameters are normal and there are no aggresive fish in that tank: male guppies, 3 zebra loaches (Botia striata), and 3 cherry shrimp. Plus a lot of MTS

Hi All: We had a Beta fish that we got last year. Today we discovered that he/she was no longer among the living. Last night when I fed him he seemed a little slow sort of hiding in the roots of the peace lily. We really took good care of this fish, always fed him and

| Intestinal Parasite Remedy | 23 Oct 2003 13:49 GMT | 4 |
I've lost a few fish recently from both bloating and shrinking abdomens. I reckon I've got a bad dose of more than one type of intestinal parasite within my community tank (no isolation tank for new fish, yet). What's a good treatment that would be likely to knock out a broad ...

| Question on tank lighting | 22 Oct 2003 22:07 GMT | 1 |
I've got a 15Gal Freshwater tank w/ 1 Kuhli and 1 Clown pleco. I'm hoping to get 2 dwarf frogs soon. It's obvious these fellows prefer dark to light, so I have to ask myself why I'm using aritificial lighting (6" fluoro day-glo) in the tank.

I have a 10 gallon tank. It contained 1 kissing gourami, 1 3-spot gourami, 1 "headstand" fish, and 1 tiger barb. The tank was cleaned about 3 weeks ago. All was well afterwards. The tiger barb needed company, though. So I bought 2 green tiger barbs and 1 albino tiger barb from ...
