Is it ok to have two filtration systems in place on the same tank? I am planning on setting up a 45gl tank (my very first one) and I purchased a Hagen Fluval 204 canister filter. However now I am not sure it will be sufficient for the tank... since I think it is only rated for 30gl. ...

| "Coolie" loach | 03 Oct 2003 22:45 GMT | 7 |
Can't remember whether it's kuhli or coolie, but anyways, anyone else have these little guys? I've had mine a few months now, quite interesting creatures. Look dead 50% of the time until I do a waterchange, then they are the life of the tank.

| Anyone know of a light controller with a built-in timer ? | 01 Oct 2003 16:15 GMT | 2 |
Just about to buy lighting units for a new tank and wondered if anyone makes one with a built-in timer. I have previously used an external timer, but I would like to try and stagger the lights coming on and off, and that would mean a separate timer for each light unit.
