I have set up a 45gl tank for about 2 months now, and cycled the tank with a few cherry barbs, I then started adding a few of the following, mollies, platys, guppies, neon tetras, pl*co, and a betta with couple of female bettas.

Yesterday I bought one of those filters without a heater for £160 WITHOUT a heater. am I being ripped off? and can I buy a heater separate for those filters? Cheers, Mat

Hey, i have a 29 gallon aquarium that will have tetras, gouramis, a pleco, a redtailed black shark, and possibly a corydora. What non-fish(like a frog or a turtle) could i get that would not have my fish for lunch and also not need to leave the water?

I've been contemplating adding a UV sterilizer to my 75 G. freshwater tank. The prices aren't that expensive if it would be a positive addition. I'm primarily considering it for 2 reasons: overall improvement of fish health and assistance in the fight against algae.
