Has anyone had any experience with the Azoo Palm Filter?  There's not
much info out there that I was able to find on it.

A light "film" on my brackish tank...17 Nov 2003 13:14 GMT11
I did a water change for the two puffers in my 10-gallon last Sunday,
and today have noticed a slight film on top of the water. It's a
little hard to describe, but the water is almost imperceptibly cloudy
at the very surface -- I wouldn't notice the cloudiness were it not
Betta "respite care"17 Nov 2003 11:29 GMT4
A thought, perhaps a far-fetched one, who knows.
My male betta has been lethargic for ages, although he is probably
just old. He prefers hot weather (loved 30C for some reason!) and
also responds to me, food and the missus in the adjacent tank.
Worst nightmare17 Nov 2003 11:13 GMT8
I always knew this day would come.
I got a silver spotted ancistrus last week, finished quaranteen with no
visible signs of anything, moved it into the 90g tank. Couple days later, 3
bala's are covered with ich, one pictus cat is disasterously covered with

How do you all get those snappy little signatures lines to post here?
I have searched and for the life of me cannot see how to add it.
Feeling very left out...
Thanks!

Hello, my name is Evan. I would like to know what a reasonable price
for a 20 gallon saltwater tank is, I am also interested in what you
think a 20 gallon freshwater would cost. My lfs is offering $170 for a
20 gallon freshwater tank (includes: stand, tank, filter, gravel,

I have a 75 gallon tank that is numbered with various types of tropical
fish. I feed my fish once a day. My friend has the same size tank with
pretty much the same kind of fish but he feeds his twice to three times a
day. The only difference between his fish and mine are the lenghts ...
Hi,15 Nov 2003 17:14 GMT2
I have a recently established 75 gallon aquarium.
My lone bala shark, his friend died in a house move, is determined to
get one of his eyes poked out by the 2 angelfish I have. They are a
couple. He will swim up to them, stop and extend all his fins. The

Comedey of Errors - Wait or Medicate14 Nov 2003 04:32 GMT21
Welcome to my comedey of errors.
I'll tell you the situation briefly first, and then a more detailed
version after.
1. New tank setup - less than a week old.
Fish & Turtles?13 Nov 2003 11:22 GMT5
Can a domestic aquatic turtle (who has lived alone for about 20 years)
live peacefully with tropical fish in the same tank (a big tank)?  I
think it would be really cool to have one big tank with both my turtle
and fish in it.  It would definitely be a great conversation-starter,
Clams13 Nov 2003 05:08 GMT7
So I got an email from liveaquaria.com posting this week's specials, and
it mentioned fresh-water clams.  Anybody ever try these?  They
supposedly burrow in the substrate (seems logical for a clam) and filter
food that drifts down.  Does anybody know what water parameters a clam
Keeping Betta Fish Appart13 Nov 2003 04:59 GMT12
Hi All: I have a 21/2 Gallon tank for two Betta fish. The tank has one
of those dividers  to keep them appart. The divider is clear plastic
and my wife is concerned that the fish will be able to see one another
and this will agravate them. Is this true? Is there a good way to
