Long finned rosy barb diseased?31 Jan 2004 18:27 GMT1
I have a planted, ten G with various fish including two long finned

one of the barbs, which, all of the sudden, seems to have lost all sense
of orientation.  It constantly swims and spins erratically, ...

tank to be), had this written on it:
Attention:  For use with the EHEIM professional system the standard
Changing to a Larger Tank31 Jan 2004 06:41 GMT1
At the moment I have a 10 gallon tank with 2 platys, 4 flame tetras, 2
cories, and 1 pleco (couldn't find any other algae eater).  As the pleco
grows, I will need to consider getting a larger tank.  Ideally, I'd like to
get something much larger, somewhere around the 30s or so.

Replacing Gravel Bed for Corys31 Jan 2004 04:59 GMT3
I was at the LFS last night, thinking of getting a few more Corys as buddies
for the two I already have.  (They are labeled as Corydoras punctatus, but I
believe they are actually C. leucomelas.)  The LFS uses a relatively fine
gravel, maybe 1/8" diameter.  I noticed that their ...

Backgrounds30 Jan 2004 23:18 GMT5
Anyone found a good way to stick on backgrounds?
I've just been wraping around the back and taping the edges, but there has
to be something to put the background flush with the glass. Lately I've
squirted some water between, smoothed out with a credit card, but that's
ph30 Jan 2004 01:33 GMT1
We have had a cycled community tank running for a couple months now.  we had
4 blue tetra's that were healthy yesterday(at least seemed to be)  but today
there were 3 deaths.  Tested the water and there is 0 amm, 0 nitrite, and
6.6 ph.  Now I am pretty sure the PH has been neutral ...
Moving fish to a new tank29 Jan 2004 21:00 GMT3
Hello.  I'm new here and new to keeping fish.  I recently got a 70 litre
tank and I got it set up and my first fish in - 6 White Cloud Mountain
Minnows.  Everything seemed to be going well - the tank cycled beautifully,
the fish appear active and healthy and I've now added a small ...
Algae wafers for cats29 Jan 2004 20:59 GMT20
Something funny here,
Anyone ever had their furry friends take an interest in algae wafers?
My cats managed to open the container and eat them all!!
They've always been interested in the flakes, which I could understand
Air Freshener and Incense - are they the same?29 Jan 2004 19:38 GMT5
My fish tank is situated in a large apartment livingroom.
Unfortunately, my tank has been suffering the occasional fish death -
and I have a sneaking suspicion that it is related to air freshener
poisoning.
