How much algae does a p13c0 need?09 Jan 2004 01:51 GMT4
I've got a 2" big clown Pleco in a 15 Gal tank.  When I first got him, there
was "Salad" over everything, but now he's cleaned it all up, and there's
almost no algae left.  I am supplementing his diet with a single algae wafer
weekly.
Shy fish09 Jan 2004 01:50 GMT2
I have a pleco that I rarely see and I'm wondering if I'm doing
something that bothers the fish.  I don't know anybody else that has
an aquarium so my only other frame of reference is the LFS.  Whenever
I go in there, I see their pleco's attached to the glass, doing their

I've never used meth blue before, but my betta has a bad case
of fungus which is suddenly worsening, so I've made him up a
little tank and put the correct dose of meth blue in it.
The water is really dark!

Help with snail problem please.08 Jan 2004 05:18 GMT1
About 5 months ago I inadvertantly introduced pond snails into my 20
gal octogon tank. 3 months ago I stripped the tank and did the boil

tank again. I do not want to intro loaches into my tank, I simply want
Clean up crew recommendations for 55G planted tank07 Jan 2004 14:41 GMT5
What would you recommend for a clean up crew for a 55G planted tank?  So far
I'm thinking of getting 6 Jullii cory cats to take care of any extra food
reaching the bottom.  However, I'm still undecided what to get to take care
of the algae.  Is an Otto better than a SAE?  Or do they ...
Bob's appetite, is HUGE!!!07 Jan 2004 04:17 GMT2
I've had this betta at home, in a 5g by himself, heated and filtered, and he
is the king, no doubt....
TNKY7 has taught me that you should feed it a variety, but not every day,
skip a day here and there to allow for digestion... seems to work as Bob, da

interested in breeding guppys, are there any tetras that could breed
easily? the tank i would have them in would be 10 gallon. Is this
Culturing pest snails for Clown Loach07 Jan 2004 00:22 GMT4
Hi this may sound odd to all you folks who complain about snail
infestations.  I have a group of four small clown loaches and they don't
seem very thrilled about either flakes or sinking carnivore wafers.  I was
thinking the local fish store has a tank infested with those tiny ...
