There is little to no nitrate present in my three tanks. I consider all
three of them to be fully cycled. Shouldn't there be a small amount of
nitrate? Are the plants using up what little nitrate there is?

Folks,
We are moving to a new place and we have a well (Sout India). The
water is very salty. I dont have any other parameters like pH, KH, GH
and etc. Water is not very hard because Soap and Shampoo works fine.

Currently have a 75G in room that faces East and gets minimal sun or even

Hi all I have a "Nymphaea lotus var. rubra" it has red leaves with dark red
markings. The leaves are growing 8" to 10" across, Why?

I just got done installing a Fluval 204 filter on my tank.  This is my first
canister filter.  The instructions say to start the filter without the water
being above the output nozzle.  Now that I have it running, can I let the
water now go above the output nozzle or will it cause ...

I have a friend who inherited a large tank...The Gravel is just loaded
with debris..More then can be removed with water changes.
Is there something I can use that will vacuum the gravel without
removing the water so I can get this mess cleaned up?

Hi, is it not a good idea to mix bettas with gouramis and angelfish?
Or is this only with the male Bettas? Thanks for any responses!
