I am looking at ordering a few products from your website and was wondering about the shipping options. Is Newcastle considered to be in the Central Coast for shipping purposes?? No dramas if it isn't, just so I know which postage option to choose!!

| Dominant feeders | 22 Jan 2004 08:27 GMT | 7 |
I have a new tank and 5 Glow Light Tetras, 2 Clown Loach (small). I feed flakes and cat fish pellets (1/10 inch diameter, approx). The clowns don't seem to get much food when I feed, no matter what I do. All the books say "feed all they can eat in 2 (or 5 minutes)", but the Tetras ...

| A really dumb accident | 22 Jan 2004 03:00 GMT | 12 |
Unfortunately I am sometimes pretty tired when I get home and end up doing aquarium maintenance when I should be sleeping. This leads to all types of dumb mistakes - and I do mean dumb! (I have tried leaving the maintenance for times when I can cope, but then it

| Mysterious fish loss | 21 Jan 2004 11:51 GMT | 4 |
I had a jumbo molly die on me today, and I am at a total loss as to why. It was fine (and pregnant) as of 2PM today. Sometime later, not sure exactly when, it died. It's belly is pushed in about halfway to it's back, and it has yellow streaks down the side.

Anyone prepare their own beef heart? Gotta be cheaper than LFS. If so, what do ya do? I seen the size of a heart... not no little hunk-o-meat. Cheers

I live 200 miles from the nearest fish store so rely on the Internet to buy everything. Rather pay postage than wear and expense on me and my car! I have 5 fresh water tanks and over 100 fish: mollies, platies,

| Is a Pleco a scaleless fish??? | 20 Jan 2004 15:08 GMT | 2 |
Just curious...I always see that in refernece to posts asking about copper. I look at my common pleco, and he looks like he's got huge armored plates for skin. Even my bristlenose and terminicki look pretty much the same. No, I'm not using copper treatment - just wondering about ...

| Lighting for a 12gal Eclipse Tank | 19 Jan 2004 16:27 GMT | 3 |
Has anyone found blue bulbs that would fit this tank or come up with a way to change the fixture so that blue lighting can be used in them? My LFS tried to order an Azu Blue Light (13w) with the proper connector, but their supplier said they don't make them "yet". I'm

I have a 55 gallon planted tank with two adult black angel fish, 3 middle sized striped angels, a few platys I haven't gotten around to catching and moving with the rest of my wife's platys, several ottos, 3 2.5 Siamese algae eaters (I trust my LFS, they are not Chinese or etc), ...

| Tank Cycling Strategy | 19 Jan 2004 01:08 GMT | 5 |
I'm close to being ready to get my 55G planted tank up and running, which means it's time to figure out how I'm gonna cycle it as well as the quarantine tank, and how/when to introduce the first fish, etc. So I'm wondering if I could get some feedback about what I'm thinking of ...
