snail question19 Feb 2004 10:57 GMT2
I had a snail a while ago that exhibited some odd behavior that i've
wondered about.  I don't know what species of snail it was, but it was
about the size of a walnut, maybe slightly larger.  It was the only
snail I had in my 10 gallon tank, and I think I had 3 small fish in it

Feeder Fish in a Pond18 Feb 2004 11:59 GMT3
I have been cycling a tank with feeder fish.  The tank is cycled and
the fish all seem healthy and in fact have grown during the process.
My newbie friend lost her pond fish (came with the house) over the
winter due to some unfrotunate mistakes.  She wants to start again and

If you use any of their products and need replacement parts or it

More babies!17 Feb 2004 19:56 GMT2
This morning when I went to feed the 5 guppy fry that were born last

catch it. I went shopping today for a brine shrimp hatchery and brine

I noticed that one tiger barb has a white film over both eyes, so I
treated yesterday with fungus eliminator. Today I noticed that a
different tiger barb has protruding eyes, very noticeable. I picked up
Keeping live plants?17 Feb 2004 16:09 GMT3
My question is how many hours of
light do you recommend to keep live plants?  I have a 55 gallon freshwater
tank and just purchased a dual light to go along with my single strip light.
That will give me 120 watts, I replaced the stock bulbs ...
