I recently picked up a pair of these magnificent fish.  boy are they pretty.
I put them in a 55 gal tank with some cories and some killies and they seem
to rule the roost.
my questions are as follows:

What chemical is best suited to remove Algea and not hurt the fish? I am
talking the green spotty kind. I have a cichlid tank and my plec*s are not
doing the job. Anyone know? Thanks!

Hello.  Yesterday one of the area's more esteemed LFSs had an anniversary
sale so I trekked across town to stock up on filters and frozen food and
such, as well as some fish.  They were buy 2 get the third free.  I picked

Anyone got any good suppliers they can recommend in the UK over the internet
for thnigs like silver sand....having a nightmare getting some....

I've got a 10g that has tons of MTS in it, churning up the sand.... I've
recently noticed, that they're getting into the filter, and they literally
clean the filter... To the extent, there is no green gunk on it...
Is that weird or good?

I'll need to get a new heater sometime in the next month and was wondering
if any of you had preferences or horror stories to share. :)
I'm partial to the submersible heaters.. Kinda eyeballing the Hagen Thermal

I've had guppies recreationally most of my life and have never done anything
special to get them to breed.  Just place a male and a female in a tank and
babies come.

My current setup is in a 10g tank. I have a couple of plastic plants,
2 Orange Platys, 3 bloodfin tetras, and another fish that looks sorta
like a bloodfin tetra, but has scales that are more white than the
