Swordtails babies04 Apr 2004 15:59 GMT4
I've got some swordtail babies that are about 20 days old now.
To stop them being eaten they're in the breeding trap but I'm
wondering whether I can let them out yet. They're big enough not
to fit in the mother's mouth but I've also got some bigger
Algae bloom-more info04 Apr 2004 12:01 GMT1
I just realized that I forgot to mention that I have 2 penguin 330

I'm leaving the light off again today. I normally leave the lights on
Betta fry foods?04 Apr 2004 02:35 GMT2
Okay, y'all.  I have some betta fry, just became free-swimming.  I've

loss of scales04 Apr 2004 02:07 GMT1
A couple fish were involved in a territorial dispute with some larger
inhabitants of the tank, which caused them to loose a large amount of scales
on the sides of the body. Just curious if there was any additive available
to speed regrowth of scales.

Pleco coexistence with agressives03 Apr 2004 16:07 GMT4
I know from experience that a pleco will not coexist peacefully with my

newby aquarium03 Apr 2004 14:28 GMT11
I am thinking of getting a aquarium, at least 50 gallons.  Are their any
places to get good deals on aquariums?  Also, with a average room temp
of 80, what kind of chiller would be needed to have a temp of 60 in the
aquarium?  How much would this cost?
Clown Loach with an attitude!03 Apr 2004 12:06 GMT16
I bought a Clown Loach about 6 months ago. During the time I have had
him, he's been fun to watch and appears to be very healthy. I thought
he could use a buddy so I bought a second one. The first few days they
resembled two old dogs circling and sniffing each other out. It was

One question related to this -- I've been thinking I'd like to get
something to help me plant / rearrange gravel, etc. in my tank without

Kribs vs. egg-snatchers....02 Apr 2004 12:11 GMT3
BOTTOM LINE FIRST:  I'd like to give my Kribs every opportunity to breed in my
community tank.  Which of the following make POOR tank mates (from the kribs'
perspective), especially in terms of raiding eggs from kribs?:
My guess is the following are probably ok w/ the kribs:  ...
