| Lemon tetras | 05 May 2004 01:27 GMT | 2 |
Hey. Been reading this group for a few days. Great bunch of people here. My sister had a lemon tetra that was very agressive - it bit the tail fins off of two of her rummy nose tetras. It was the only lemon in the tank, and shared it with 2 dwarf frogs and the rummy nose.

My long-established community tank is going to be needing a few top-dwellers in the "near" future -- that level is currently inhabited by three old female guppies (last male keeled over a few months back) and a lone long-finned zebra danio that I somehow managed not to kill (I have ...

My wife and I went to the Newport Aquarium, which is in the Cincinnati Ohio / Covington Kentucky area. Very cool! Besides their amazing large tanks, they have some small biotope tanks (where here, small is probably 500 gallons?). They were

| Small bowl heater? | 02 May 2004 13:08 GMT | 4 |
I've a male betta in a 4 litre / (1 gallon?) bowl. Like myself, he is not coping too well with the sudden onset of Autumn and the drop in temperature, and has become lethargic. He gets a full water change every week, the water is conditioned with ager

| Dwarf Puffer | 02 May 2004 08:13 GMT | 12 |
I'm thinking of setting up a species tank, a Dwarf Puffer (Pea Puffer) tank to be exact. All the info I found on the web about these little fish has just confused me. I need to make sure I know what I'm getting into before I go out and get some. I also need to know what

| Neon tetra with severely damaged tailfin | 02 May 2004 05:28 GMT | 4 |
I had posted a few days ago about my tetra not eating. He was the sole survivor out of a group of 5. Interestingly enough, I bought a few more tetras today (neons and zebras), and he immediately perked up and ate with the community. I guess it was just loneliness.
