Pimafix does not have a dosage rate on the bottle.  I googled it but the
only reference I could find says 16 oz per 960 gal.

I came home from work today, and there are a bunch of beige/grey eggs on the
slate in the 10 gallon tank!  I just moved these guys into the tank just 3
weeks ago, getting them out of my 75 gallon which they shared with 5 large
severums, 8 skirt tetras, 4 corries, and a few ottos.  ...

When you're favorite fish, a 14" pl*co, becomes too big for the tank he was
supposed to 'spend eternity' in, and has become too obnoxious, and almost
aggressive that he knocks over rocks, stirs up gravel, generally creates a
nuisance of himself....

I've got two 3month old 100 gallon freshwater aquariums.  (72" x 18" x
18")
No gravel, just bare bottom with a few (less than 10) handsize rocks.
Cleaning (all water drained) takes me 6 hours total...a pain...

I noticed this morning my molly upside down and somewhat tilted to the
side at the top of the tank.  Then later noticed his eyes bulging.  I
first assumed it was swim bladder problems. Then pop-eye.  Maybe it's
dropsy.. ???

just bought a juwel tank.
I've already made loads of mistakes.
1) I put the treatment for chlorine in the full tank rather than in the
buckets prior to putting the water in.

I recently purchased a new AquaClear 20 (former AquaClear Mini) HOB
filter to replace my old Penguin Mini Bio-Wheel. The previous filter
worked fine, but I wanted to have wider flow adjustment range of
AquaClear since the tank is small (5.5 gal) and reducing the flow in

I need some stainless steel rods to act as water level sensor probes for
my fishtank, does anyone know where I can get hold of some?

i've been contemplating the idea lateley as i had to throw some food
(about 8 months old) as it was getting fugnus.
I like to buy several kinds/types of foods for the fish, rather then
just one.

After many months, I finally got my new/used aquarium and want to know if I
got a good deal. I'll list out what I got in the package, and let me know
what you think it would be worth if you could please.
1 - 130G Glass aquarium

I am new to fish keeping Only about three months now.
I have a 180 litre / about 30gallon tank  of freshwater tropicals.
The temperature is being maintained in the range 24.0 to 24.8 degrees C.
I set up the tank and let it run for 7 days.

I've got an Aquamedic Ocean Runner 3500 pump that keeps dripping slowy
(1/min) from the O-ring seal.  Tried vasoline etc. but has not helpful.  The
O-ring is not damaged, but I have not been able to find parts for this so
that I could even try another.

I don't really need advice this time, but I thought I should share my latest
fish problem.
My cats usually hang out next to the fish tanks, watching the fish. Once in
awhile they even jump on top the tanks and drink out of them.

New in the box, (not used)
fluval 404 canister filter for fresh/salt water fish tanks.
comes with everything you need.
I also have other used fluval filters, and misc tank items.
