A year+ ago, I bought four African American Dwarf frogs. Unfortunately, two have since died (Both instances due to my own negligence, and I am painfully aware that I'm an a.shole). I'd like to do good by the last two frogs. I understand they are quite

| Pea Gravel Question | 25 Jul 2004 15:12 GMT | 4 |
I went to a couple of different places that had pea gravel in bags, found some busted open and snitched a handful of each. Came home, and washed it reasonably and then dumped both into separate bowls of vinegar. The one with smaller grains had, maybe 2-4 grains that slowly

This pattern has been going on a while. I change the bettas water (about 1 gal of his 1.5 gal tank every week) and a couple of days later he suddenly gets fin rot overnight. I treat with 1 tsp salt to the 1.5 gal and a couple of days later he's fine again. For a

I have a new (used) 55G that I am setting up. After reading and reading I have decided that the best filtration for me would be a combination of an RUGF and a power or canister filter. A couple of questions: - Is driving a RUGF with the output from a canister filter a reasonable ...
