Do I kill the betta24 Jul 2004 09:28 GMT1

been like this for a while but in the past few months, she has become so
bloated that she is now lying upside down on the gravel.
The oddity is, past her bloated abdomen her body color is extremely vibrant,

3 Male Fancy Guppies in Q-Tank, Chasing, Aggression or Both?23 Jul 2004 15:47 GMT2
I recently got 3 male fancy guppies for my 10 gallon tank.  My friend
has male guppies with no problem, the LFS said males together were
okay and I did lots of research and saw nothing noted about male
aggression.  I didn't want pairs as I have no room for babies if they

I have a pregnant guppy, a pregnant swordtail, and a pregnant sunburst

where I can find pictures, or info on exactly how they behave when ready
to give birth? The swordtail has had five babies, I think it's ...

I have what I believe is a Florida gar in a 55 gallon tank. I've had
this fish for about 22 years and he (she?) has been alone for probably
the last 10. The fish is about 16" long now. I was wondering what kind
of fish would be compatible with this gar and would it even be a wise

We just started our 20 gallon long freshwater aquarium.  We filled it
with distilled water a week ago, and put 3 zebra danios in it to help
start the cycle.
We know nothing about fish.

Fish Combinations...21 Jul 2004 19:41 GMT2
Hi All.  Beginner's question time.
Does anyone envisage problems with keeping Corys, Neon Tetras and Balloon
Mollies in the same tank, long term?
Behaviourally, they seem to be getting along just fine with each other right
Filtration Question21 Jul 2004 14:28 GMT1
Is 500 gallons per hour enough turnover from the wet/dry (and lifeguard
cannister both fed from one overflow box) for a 120 gallon fish tank? Because
my overflow box is leaking and i have no idea what size it is, or what size to
buy..
Mollie specific?21 Jul 2004 10:43 GMT8

I am not having any luck....
I have lost 4 mollies over the last few weeks and I'm down to one left...
Goldfish with sand21 Jul 2004 05:32 GMT2
I know goldfish root around in the substrate & take gravel in their mouths
and then spit it out - I was wondering if anyone has any experience of using
sand as a substrate with goldfish. Is it always in suspension? Is it bad for
them?
