One other question comes to mind for my resurrected 55 gallon tank. It used to house marine fish, and there is a pretty good sized pump circulating water. The filter is located at the back left part of the tank, and discharges to the right. This creates a kind of circular flow ...

| Beginner: tank size, filtration | 05 Aug 2004 00:44 GMT | 3 |
I'm trying to decide what size tank to start with, and how much filtration I need. I can support the weight of a 55 gallon tank, but I'm also interested in a 29 gallon and a 40 or 33 gallon "long" tank. My aesthetic preference is long but not very tall. From the research

I've had a Python about a year that I've used for clean and refill my aquarium. When I used it today, it drained just fine, but when it came time to refill, it wouldn't send any water out the hose to the tank. I took the green plastic unit apart to look for clogs and was unable to ...

I have fish that are too lethargic. I have three spotted cories that do nothing, which is not the behavior I expect from them. And, I have four diamond tetras which have gone sluggish. I just did a tank cleaning & water change yesterday, and filter cleaning. While I was at it, I
