skeletons in pleco tank16 Sep 2004 05:00 GMT2
Is there any benefit for leaving dead plecos in an aquarium that is
populated only by plecos? I'm just trying to figure out why on earth the LFS
would leave the corpses in there so long that they would be almost skeletal.
Like, imagine a couple of them died in their sleep, and were ...
Taking back dead or diseased fish15 Sep 2004 05:25 GMT6
What is the etiquette on returning fish to a store where you think you got a
bad fish?  I've got one supplier that said he doesn't take back fish,
although he begrudgingly said he would take one particular fish back if I
really had to.  PetSmart has a 14 day return policy, no ...
Pics of Gourami Disease or Problem14 Sep 2004 19:47 GMT9
Hi.  My dwarf red gourami has developed a kind of bump.  These pics make it
look kind of smooth, but I think it was a bigger bump last night, and maybe
he scraped it off from flashing.  I notice that he flashes every once in
awhile, not often though.  Moreso when he's excited it ...
Butcher Block Countertop14 Sep 2004 19:42 GMT40
Hi.  I am putting a hard rock maple countertop in my deli.  I found what
seems to be a good supplier that has good prices for unfinished 1.5"
countertops.  I had a couple of questions/comments if anybody cares to lend
a hand.
multiple filters?14 Sep 2004 17:56 GMT2
I hope I'm not being dim but if I have a 600 litre tank can I use 2 x 300
litre rated external filters on it? If so should these be run in parallel
(i.e. independantly) or in series(i.e. linked together).

I have been keeping tiger barbs since 2001 when I chose some

Goodbye, tiger barbs! Thank you for introducing me to the

Problem with bare bottom tanks...14 Sep 2004 14:38 GMT7
As I started an attempt on raising a third batch of danio fry...(I'm just
begining to get into spawning egg-layers) I came accross the same problem I
had the first two times...hopefully some of you can help me.
The spawning tank(s) I set up were as follows.  Water from established ...

Sorry to the folks who have read the garbage that  "luminos" logos1@trip.net is

cannot accept that he was wrong.
Therefore, any chance he can to attack me, he does. Sometimes the poor dear

perhaps some dwarf gouramis.  do these types of fish all get along
well?  i have 3 corydoras also.  the reason i want to trade my tetras
