Hiya My fish have just gone through a SEROUS ick infection and I somehow managed to cure it with some protozin. My uncle says I should add some salt to my tank (coarse salt) and I have heard it is a good idea but

I have a huge catfish in an aquarium and he seems to have popeye. Anyway I'm assuming as much since his one eye is huge! I isolated him from the other fish and have treated him with Maracyn. Is this going to work or is there a better way to take care of it?

Hi - My Black Molly has bright red poo. I hope it's because we changed his food and the food has some red flakes. Am I right? My platty died last week - I think it was a swim bladder so I want to make sure this isn't an infection too. Thanks Emma

Quite some time ago (a year or more) I was given a handful of Malaysian Trumpet snails by a local fish store. I counted perhaps a hundred. Most went into my heavily planted 20 gallon community tank, where they've done quite well for themselves.
